"Who is it?"
Madison hurriedly put on her clothes, walked from the courtyard to the living room, and asked nervously through the door.
Since her grandmother passed away last year, she had been living alone. The men and troublemakers in the village often took the opportunity to visit her house with ill intentions. So, she always locked the door early in the evening.
"It's me, Francis!" Francis said.
"Oh, it's you."
Madison opened the door, quickly pulled Francis inside, and locked the door behind him.
"You're just in time. Come on, give me a back rub."
Madison pulled Francis along, feeling relieved and dropping her guard. Francis had given her back rubs many times before.
Living alone, with Francis as her neighbor, they had a close relationship since childhood. Even after Francis had an accident and lost his wits, she often asked him for help with such tasks.
Francis was stunned.
He had only come to borrow a tractor; what was happening?
Despite having dated Olivia in college, they had never gone further than kissing. This was the first time he had seen a woman's body up close.
Madison's figure was full of youthful vitality, with stunning curves. Her features were captivating, and her skin was fair and tight.
"Come on, why are you just standing there?"
Seeing Francis frozen, Madison turned her head and gave him a look, urging him on.
"I... um... I..."
The suddenness of the situation left Francis at a loss for words.
"Stop stammering, and come on, just like before, help me with a back rub."
"Huh? Oh!"
Francis's heart was pounding.
After all, he was a young man. How could he resist?
Taking a deep breath, Francis tried to calm himself. As he started to massage Madison's shoulders, he instinctively used the ancient massage techniques passed down from his ancestors. By stimulating specific pressure points, he helped her relax completely after a day's hard work.
"Francis, when did you learn to massage? If I'm ever tired from work, can you come and help me relax like this?"
After speaking, Madison remembered that Francis was considered slow-witted and hard to communicate with. She usually did most of the talking, and Francis just nodded along, not necessarily understanding everything.
Thinking of this, Madison sighed. If only Francis hadn't lost his wits. He was the only college graduate in the village, and she admired him greatly.
"Um, Madison, next time you need a massage, maybe you should, uh, keep your clothes on," Francis said awkwardly. His heart couldn't take it anymore.
"I don't mind, why should you?" Madison replied with a smile.
Huh?
Madison's body stiffened as she quickly realized something was off. When did Francis start speaking so clearly?
She turned around in a hurry and saw the bitter smile on Francis's lips and the clarity in his eyes, completely different from his usual silly expression.
"Francis... you..."
"I've recovered!" Francis said with a smile.
This wasn't something he could hide. The behavior of a normal person and someone considered slow-witted was entirely different, noticeable with just a little attention.
Besides, there was no need for him to hide it.
"You're cured? That's wonderful!"
Their families had always been close. Now that Francis was back to normal, Madison was genuinely happy for him.
"Uh... uh..." Francis scratched his head awkwardly and coughed.
"Ah!"
Suddenly, Madison screamed and instinctively covered herself, realizing that with Francis cured, he had seen her fully.
"You jerk! You're cured and didn't even tell me."
Madison's face turned red, and she lowered her head, not daring to look at Francis.
"I didn't have a chance. You pulled me in before I could say anything."
Francis sighed with a wry smile.
"Hmph, you did it on purpose."
"Uh... I'll just... leave."
Francis laughed awkwardly and quickly slipped out.
Soon, Madison had dressed and quietly said, "Francis, I'm dressed now."
"Okay."
Hearing this, Francis turned around, and his eyes lit up.
