Ethan Sigeweard squinted his eyes slightly. It seemed that fate had brought them together again. He hadn't expected to encounter Zachary Hudson here, and it looked like Zachary was specifically targeting him.
"Smack!"
However, before he could say a word, Justin suddenly disappeared from the spot. The next moment, a crisp sound rang out, and Zachary's figure was sent flying backward.
Many onlookers gasped in shock at the scene, watching Justin with disbelief. After all, Zachary was one of the notorious troublemakers in Ysleve City, and here he was, slapped away by Justin.
Ethan was also surprised as he watched Justin. Zachary Hudson might be considered arrogant, but Justin Loris was even more so, completely overpowering him. They were simply not on the same level.
In Ysleve City, only a select few would dare to slap Zachary like that, and it usually only happened when the elite members of the top families clashed.
The audacity to openly strike Zachary was unprecedented. It wasn't just Zachary's face that was slapped, but also the reputation of the Hudson Family.
What's more, Justin's speed had startled Ethan. It was terrifying, far beyond what could be expected of someone at the Battle Master level.
"You scoundrel, I'll kill you!" Zachary struggled to get up, his body swaying. A crimson handprint marked his face.
Never before had anyone dared to strike him like that, let alone in front of a crowd. It was a humiliation worse than death.
"Puff!"
In a blur, Justin delivered a swift kick to Zachary's abdomen, causing him to double over in agony, blood gushing from his mouth.
The spectators were left dumbfounded, horrified by Justin's audacity to repeatedly confront Zachary.
"Say another word, and you're dead!" Justin's icy gaze bore into Zachary, who lay writhing on the ground, his threat chillingly pronounced.
Clutching his abdomen, Zachary glared at Justin with a mix of fury and fear, but he dared not utter a word.
From Justin's demeanor, it was clear he wouldn't hesitate to end Zachary's life. Even if it meant risking his own destruction, Zachary knew Justin was serious.
"Young Master, are you alright?" Maya Lee approached Zachary with concern etched on her face.
"Get lost!" Zachary lashed out, his rage reaching a boiling point. Finally finding someone he could bully, he wasn't about to hold back.
"What's happening?" With a commanding voice, several imposing figures approached, causing the crowd to part.
Leading them was a man in a golden robe, his sharp features and resolute gaze exuding an air of authority.
However, Ethan's attention was immediately drawn to the woman beside him in a golden dress. A wave of murderous intent flickered in his eyes. Who else but Stella Sigeweard?
"Max Hudson!" someone in the crowd exclaimed, recognizing the man in the golden robe, their eyes widening in fear.
"This young man is in trouble. Max Hudson is one of the top twenty experts on the academy's leaderboard. It's said that he has already reached the Battle Master realm, and there are very few at the same level who can match him."
"Yeah, slapping Zachary's face in front of so many people, isn't that slapping the Hudson Family's face?"
"In Ysleve City, there have always been only three evil young men bullying people. No one dares to bully them. Some say they'd rather offend the masters in the academy than the three evil young men. Now this young man has offended both kinds of people."
At the moment they saw Max Hudson, many people couldn't help but take several steps back, clearly distancing themselves from Justin Longstaff and the others.
"Big brother, kill him for me." Zachary was instantly excited when he saw Max arrive, looking at Justin viciously.
"Step aside." Max's cold shout came, followed by a kick to Zachary's chest, sending him flying backward with a look of horror.
The crowd was equally horrified. Logically, Max should have been the one seeking justice for Zachary. So why did Max Hudson kick his own brother away? This scene was completely unexpected.
But a few understood what was happening, looking at Justin in surprise. Among their generation in the Great Ysleve Dynasty, there was only one person Max Hudson feared, unless the family and power behind him far surpassed the Huang Family.
Ethan's gaze fell on Justin, surprise flickering in his eyes. He didn't expect Justin Longstaff's background to be so formidable. The Hudson Family was one of the four major families in Ysleve City, besides the royal family.
The moment Max saw Justin, he yielded. Justin's background was definitely intimidating.
"Brother Longstaff, I've offended you greatly. Please forgive me." Max suddenly clasped his hands and bowed to Justin.
"It was indeed foolish, but today, nobody's saving face." Justin's voice was casual, as if he was discussing a trivial matter. He then turned to Zachary and said, "Slap yourself ten times and get lost."
Zachary wiped blood from his mouth, looking at Justin with indifference. If he really slapped himself ten times today, he wouldn't be able to stay in Ysleve City any longer.
The embarrassment wasn't just Zachary's, it was the entire Hudson Family's.
The crowd felt a chill, their gazes shifting between Justin Longstaff and Max Hudson. Despite Max's apology, Justin not only didn't accept it, but also insulted Zachary.
What was the definition of domineering? Justin Ling epitomized it perfectly.
"Brother Longstaff, you're going too far." Max suppressed his anger and said coldly, "If it weren't for your family, I'd slap you to death."
"So what if I'm pushing it? Some people have to pay the price for their words and actions. Since you're unwilling to act, then I'll do it for you." Justin was unyielding. No wonder he was so angry. No one had ever dared to mock him like Zachary did.
With that said, Justin ignored Max's thoughts and approached Zachary step by step. Max clenched his fists as if he wanted to draw blood.
"Ethan, how come a family traitor like you is here?" Stella Sigeweard's eyes were cold as she looked at Ethan Sigeweard.
Ethan frowned. He didn't expect Stella to challenge him at this moment. He understood that Stella thought he and Justin were in cahoots, deliberately making things difficult for him, and wanted to sacrifice a minor advantage to gain a major one.
"What's it to you that I'm here?" Ethan shrugged it off. He wasn't a pushover. Did she really think he was easy to bully?
"I'm the head of the Sigeweard Family. Do you think it has nothing to do with me?" Stella sneered, deliberately raising her voice to make Justin stop.
However, Justin merely glanced at Ethan, ignored him, and slapped Zachary hard across the face.
"Didn't you say I'm a family traitor? Well, I've left the family and have nothing to do with the Sigeweard Family anymore. Moreover, I don't particularly like ungrateful people. Let me give you some advice: don't play with fire and get burned." Ethan Sigeweard's tone was calm as he glanced at Max Hudson from time to time.
Max was furious at first, but when he saw Ethan's provocative gaze, he exploded, "Kid, do you even have the right to speak here?"
