"Dad, if Stanley Du doesn't go to drink, I won't go either."
Upon hearing Dinah Yang say this, Roy Yang, Elen Zeng, and Fred Chen were all taken aback.
Stanley Du, however, felt comforted.
My wife really cared about me and was willing to stand by me through thick and thin.
Fred Chen, somewhat irritated, said, "Dinah Yang, I sincerely want to help your family. But you choose to stand by this poor guy. What is so special about him that you are so devoted?"
Dinah Yang said seriously, "Stanley Du is my fiancé. I can't leave him out."
Fred Chen's face turned blue with anger, and he exclaimed, "Fine, I won't help your family anymore. Don't even think about your hospital signing a contract with Heaven & Earth Corporation."
With that, Fred Chen stormed off without looking back.
Elen Zeng wanted to chase after him to plead, but Fred Chen walked away too quickly for her to catch up.
Back home, Elen Zeng pointed at Stanley Du and scolded, "You really are a jinx! Fred Chen was willing to help, to get Heaven & Earth Corporation to sign with our hospital. But you upset him! Apart from causing problems for our family, you're good for nothing!"
Stanley Du responded calmly, "Mother-in-law, you are overestimating Fred Chen. Even though his father is a department manager of Heaven & Earth Corporation, he can't make decisions on big contracts."
"You don't know anything!"
Elen Zeng shouted angrily, "Fred Chen's father works under Mr. Zhang from Heaven & Earth Corporation. If he speaks well of our Yang family to Mr. Zhang, our hospital would have a great chance to sign with Heaven & Earth Corporation. But now that you've offended Fred Chen, his father will surely try to sabotage our deal."
Stanley Du sneered in his heart, "Fred Chen's father might be a department manager, but I, Stanley Du, am the real boss behind Heaven & Earth Corporation."
"Just a word to Ulysses Zhang, and he would fire Fred Chen's father."
"Just a word to Ulysses Zhang, and Heaven & Earth Corporation would willingly sign with the Yang family’s hospital."
"But Elen Zeng calls me a jinx instead of the God of Wealth. She’s really blind."
The next morning, Roy Yang and Stanley Du went to Heaven & Earth Corporation.
Roy Yang had no clue about the contract signing.
Heaven & Earth Corporation, valued at 4 billion, was sought after by many smaller hospitals' bosses, all hoping to get cheaper medicines from Ulysses Zhang.
In the lobby of Heaven & Earth Corporation, Roy Yang saw many competitors.
"Hey, isn't this Mr. Yang? Are you also here to sign with Mr. Zhang?"
A rotund man called out to Roy Yang.
"Fatty Huang, you're here too?" Roy Yang replied with a forced smile.
Roy Yang didn't have a good relationship with Fatty Huang.
In the past, two of Roy Yang's best doctors were poached by Fatty Huang with a higher salary.
Fatty Huang sneered, "Your hospital is worth only a few million. A small client like you has no chance with a big company like Heaven & Earth Corporation. Mr. Zhang wouldn't even glance at a small boss like you. You should go home."
The other hospital bosses joined in the mockery.
Roy Yang angrily retorted, "Fatty Huang, your hospital isn't much better than ours. If I can't get the Heaven & Earth Corporation contract, neither can you!"
"What if I do get it?"
Fatty Huang challenged, "Do you dare to bet with me?"
"Let's bet then! I'm not afraid! What's the wager?"
"If I get the Heaven & Earth Corporation contract and you don't, you'll kowtow to me in public. If it's the other way around, I'll kowtow to you. How about it?"
Hearing what Fatty Huang said, Roy Yang hesitated.
"What, don't you dare?" Fatty Huang provoked.
"We'll take that bet!"
Before Roy Yang could respond, Stanley Du stepped in to accept the challenge.

Fatty Huang laughed heartily, "Everyone, be witnesses for me and Roy Yang. Whoever goes back on their word will bring doom upon their whole family!"

Roy Yang didn't feel confident that he could beat Fatty Huang.
He whispered angrily to Stanley Du, "You troublemaker! You've gotten me into a real mess now!"
At that moment, a female employee in her twenties approached, "Who is Terence Huang, Boss Huang?"
"That's me."
"Come with me, Mr. Zhang wants to see you!" When the female employee said this, all the smaller hospital owners stared at Terence Huang with eyes full of envy and jealousy.
Terence Huang glanced at Roy Yang with disdain, thinking, "I've already bribed one of Mr. Zhang's top men, Warner Chen. I'm about to sign a contract with Heaven & Earth Corporation. Roy Yang, you fool, you dared to bet with me."
Warner Chen was Fred Chen’s father, a department manager at Heaven & Earth Corporation.

After Terence Huang left, Roy Yang whispered, "This is bad. Mr. Zhang of Heaven & Earth Corporation will definitely sign a contract with Fatty Huang. "Don't sign with Terence Huang. My father-in-law, Roy Yang, is downstairs. You know what to do next, right?" Stanley Du said firmly.
"I understand, Boss."
Beep beep beep, the call ended.
Keeping a straight face, Ulysses Zhang said, "Mr. Huang, your hospital is too small and lacks strength. Our Heaven & Earth Corporation isn't interested in signing with you."

You were about to sign just now and suddenly changed your mind. Are you playing games with me?
Terence Huang was anxious inside but didn't dare to lose his temper with Ulysses Zhang. He kept signaling Warner Chen with his eyes.
Last night, Warner Chen took Terence Huang's money.
Moreover, Terence Huang had promised that if the contract were successful, Warner Chen would get an extra 300,000 yuan as a bonus.
