chapter 11 I ask you to apologize

by Samuel 15:59,Oct 18,2023
"No, that's not what I meant."
Emma had obviously heard of Oliver's notorious reputation, and hearing him speak like this made her a little flustered.
"What do you mean then?" Oliver smiled mockingly.
Noticing Emma's fearful expression, he felt somewhat excited...
"I think there might be a misunderstanding, Oliver. Outer disciples are supposed to receive twenty Gathering Spirit Pills each month, but the bottle you just gave me only has twelve." Emma said obediently.
"Now that the sect is short on elixirs, the resources for outer disciples have been reduced accordingly." Oliver smiled.
This was how he had dismissed previous inquiries.
But the discerning eye could see that the remaining eight Gathering Spirit Pills had actually ended up in his own pocket.
"Ah? Why wasn't this notified in advance?" Emma frowned.
She obviously didn't believe Oliver's words, but she was also unwilling to accept them.
"What do you think you are? Do you still need the pharmacy to notify you personally? Now, even if I notify you, hurry up and take your pills and get lost!"
Oliver suddenly became angry, glaring fiercely at Emma, spitting as he scolded.
Emma was immediately frightened into silence, bowing her head and not daring to speak again.
Seeing this, Oliver smiled contemptuously.
He then casually picked up the cup of tea on the table and took a sip.
As he lowered his head, his eyes inadvertently glanced at Emma's chest, which was rising and falling with anger, a hint of lasciviousness flashing in his eyes.
After a smirk, he deliberately pretended to lose control of the cup and spilled the tea on Emma.
Her upper body was soaked, revealing her perfect curves.
"Although your face is average, but your body figure is not bad." Oliver smirked evilly.
Those who were around couldn't help but cast strange glances at Emma.
Emma hurriedly covered her chest with her hands and took several steps back.
"The elders of the pharmacy are intensifying the refining of the Gathering Spirit Pills. If you are unwilling to part with the remaining eight pills, you can come to my place tonight. I will take eight pills from the first batch of pills refined by the elders and give them to you." Oliver's mouth curled with a lecherous smile as he spoke lightly to Emma.
Although his words were somewhat obscure, the meaning behind them was quite clear.
"You shameless scoundrel!" Emma exclaimed in shame and anger.
"Shameless? How am I shameless?"
Oliver shrugged, looking indifferent. "I never force anyone to do anything. If you want the remaining eight Gathering Spirit Pills, come to my room tonight, but if you don't want them, then forget it."
"After all, next month I will be in charge of distributing resources to the outer sect disciples. So, think about it carefully when you go back! Haha!" He laughed loudly.
Upon hearing this, Emma clenched her fists in anger and shame.
She knew that he had powerful backing and dared not do anything against him.
This time, Oliver had withheld eight spiritual pills from her.
Who knew how much he would withhold next time?
Just then, Noah arrived behind Emma and placed a hand on her shoulder.
Startled, Emma turned around to see.
It's her brother's familiar face.
"Brother Noah..."
Seeing Noah, her pent-up emotions burst forth, and she threw herself into his arms, her eyes red with tears.
In the Sword God Sect, Emma had no one but Noah.
He was her only family.
But because Noah had previously become James's disciple and had been practicing on the mountain of Queen family, the two of them had few chances to meet.
Later, after Noah's dantian was shattered, and he was taken in by Henry as a disciple and lived in the Mount Weley.
Their chances of meeting became even slimmer.
"Noah?"
With Emma's call, everyone, including Oliver, turned to look at Noah.
In the Sword God Sect, Noah's name was renowned, especially among the outer sect disciples, where his name was like thunder.
Perhaps some outer sect disciples had not seen him, but they had undoubtedly heard of him.
Under everyone's gaze, Noah patted Emma's back and said solemnly, "With me here, no one can bully you."
"Haha... Now even a waste dares to speak loud" As soon as the words fell, Oliver's laughter followed.
"Noah's dantian was shattered, and he can no longer cultivate. What is he doing at the pharmacy? It seems like the Gathering Spirit Pills are of no use to him, right?"
"Who knows? I heard that he and Emma are both from the Leigh family in North Wind Town. With Emma being humiliated by Oliver this time, he might not be able to endure it!"
"Even if he can't endure it, he has to. He is possibly not Oliver's match now, even if he is, what can he do to Oliver? Aren't he afraid of Oliver's retaliation?"
The people around whispered, showing a look of watching the excitement without getting involved.
They hoped someone could teach Oliver a lesson, but they didn't think Noah was capable of being that person.
At this point, Emma had calmed down a bit.
Noah then stepped forward with Emma and stood in front of Oliver.
"You, apologize to Emma." Noah's gaze was sharp as he stared at Oliver, calmly speaking.
"Apologize? Apologize for what? In the outer sect of the Sword God Sect, no one has dared to make me apologize. Besides, is she even worth my apology?"
Oliver looked arrogant, with a mocking smile at the corner of his mouth, and his greedy eyes once again swept towards Emma.
Feeling Oliver's gaze, Emma lowered her head and took a few steps back, hiding behind Noah.
"I told you to apologize!" Noah spoke again, his voice now completely cold.
"Oh, stepping on my toes now? Noah, do you really think you're someone important?"
Oliver raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "If your dantian hadn't been shattered, and you were still Mr. Queen's disciple, I might have shown you some respect. But now, hehe..."
"What about now?"
Noah's tone turned even colder. "Do you believe I could slap you to death right now?"
"Slap me to death?"
Oliver was momentarily stunned, not expecting such a response.
But then, he looked around and burst into laughter again. "Haha... Did you hear that? A waste actually says he wants to slap me to death..."
Snap!
With a crisp sound, a clear slap echoed out.
The reckless laughter from before abruptly stopped.
The crowd was shocked.
They saw a figure flying out from the front of the pharmacy, hitting the door frame with a bang.
"Oliver..."
"Noah actually dared to hit Oliver."
"This is going to be a big problem..."
Seeing Noah slap Oliver, the people around couldn't help but feel shocked.
Emma didn't feel relieved because Noah stood up for her. Instead, she felt a twinge of guilt.
She felt they might have just caused some trouble...
