Chapter 100: The Dance of Death

Elise turned to Kent again with a smile after eating. “Shall we dance again?” she asked softly.

Kent smiled charmingly at her and took her at the center of the hall to dance again. This time, it was a slow dance. Kent held her tenderly as he settled his one arm on her waist and the other to clasp her hand.

“Are you happy tonight, Elise?” Kent gently inquired. His blue eyes seemed to penetrate her very soul.
