"Do not Cry!"
Weston Gu had never seen his son crying so hard that he didn't know how to comfort him.
"No one dislikes you!"
"Really?"
Ali Ye threw himself into his arms and hugged Weston Gu tightly. His little body trembling, and his pitiful voice made people feel pity.
Hearing that he was afraid of being abandoned, Weston Gu's heart tightened. He hugged his son and patted his head.
He said firmly, "Really!"
Audrey An looked at the father and son, and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Unexpectedly, Caleb in front of him noticed her expression, and doubts flashed in his eyes.
The relationship between Miss An and the young master had never been like this before. Although they were not as close as those mothers and sons, the two would not lead to such troubles.
Chloe Ye, on her side, returned to her residence with her four children and started cleaning the house.
Miles Gu hid in the bathroom and secretly entered the surveillance camera of his home.
Seeing Ali Ye follow Weston Gu home, he felt relieved and ran out to clean up the house.
After finally settling in, it was dinner time. The five of them ordered takeout and ate it at the dining room. The atmosphere was very lively.
Miles Gu was afraid of exposing himself by saying too much, so he only said something while everyone was talking, but no one noticed anything strange.
Except for the eldest brother, Owen Ye. He just felt that ‘Ali Ye’ was a little different, but didn’t think more.
After eating, Chloe Ye urged the children to take a bath before going to bed. She also hurriedly bathed before going to sleep.
Ali Ye cried and fell asleep while following Weston Gu back to No. 1 Yulong Bay.
Weston Gu looked at the little guy in his arms. There were still tears on his eyelashes. He wiped them away and got out of the car with him in his arms.
"Weston, let me do it!" Audrey An wanted to follow, but Weston Gu turned sideways. He said with his usual indifference and alienation, "No need."
Audrey An was a little at a loss and was angry.
Weston Gu walked a few steps with his son in his arms. Suddenly, he stopped, and looked straight at Audrey with cold eyes.
"From now on, if you think he did anything wrong, say it nicely, and pay attention to your attitude! Now go!"
With that Weston Gu signaled the butler to send her off and carried his son into the house.
Audrey An was stunned. Looking at the cold-blooded back of the man who entered the room, she felt heartbroken.
It's been five years. Why was he still so ruthless and cold-blooded to her?
Was he still blaming her for drugging him?
Was it because she likes him?
Was she wrong and shouldn't have tested his bottom line? She clearly knew that he didn't like being plotted against, so was she impatient?
"Miss An, please go back and rest early!" the housekeeper stepped forward to remind her.
Audrey An looked at the housekeeper and smiled.
"Uncle Lin, this is a gift I brought to Weston abroad. It has a calming effect. I forgot to give it to him just now. Please give it to him for me!"
She took out a beautifully wrapped box from her bag and handed it to the housekeeper, along with another gift, "I brought this for you!"
"Thank you, Miss An. This is too valuable, I can't accept it!" Uncle Lin accepted Weston Gu's gift on behalf, but did not accept the one given to him by An Audrey An.
"It doesn't cost much, just keep it. I won't need it!" Audrey An forced it on Uncle Lin, before she got in the car. Before leaving, she looked at the villa with a glimmer of light in her eyes.
Now that they were here, she thought Weston Gu would stay with her for the night.
"Be safe," Uncle Lin said politely, and advised the driver to drive carefully. After sending the car off, he entered the house.
Weston Gu carried his son upstairs. He returned to Miles Gu's bedroom, and gently put the little guy down.
"Mommy..." The little guy mumbled, and turned over on the bed.
Weston Gu's eyes flashed, and he bent down to take off his son's shoes. He then arranged his sleeping position, and covered him with a quilt. Suddenly, he saw a mole on the little guy's wrist, and his eyes were intense.
This kid didn't seem to have a mole, right?
Weston Gu grabbed the little guy's hand and looked at it. He wasn't sure. After all, the two didn't get along very often, and he didn't pay that much attention.
He put the little guy's hand down, and stared at his son's sleeping face. After a gentle pat on his head, he exited the room.
When Uncle Lin saw him coming out, he handed the things to him respectfully, "Master Gu, Miss An brought this back to you. She said it has a calming effect!"
Weston Gu glanced briefly, not intending to take it over. He glanced at the butler, "Don't collect things casually in the future!"
The housekeeper was startled for a moment, then admitted his mistake and said, "Yes!"
The relationship between Mr. Gu and Miss An were quite good before, but now that the young master was here, they had become indifferent. No one knew why.
They thought that Mr. Gu would marry Miss An, but five years later, their relationship was even distant.
The housekeeper looked at Weston Gu, and couldn't help but sigh. He didn't know who could win Master Gu's heart and make him smile.
Weston Gu turned back to the bedroom. Just then he asked the housekeeper.
"Uncle Lin, does Miles have a mole on his wrist?"
"Mole?" The housekeeper was startled and looked at him, a little confused, "It doesn't seem like there is one!"
He took care of the little guy, and often dressed him, but he didn't see any moles.
Weston Gu frowned. There was no mole, so what he just saw was…?
Seeing that he was telling the truth, Uncle Lin was puzzled. He quickly went in and looked at the little guy's wrist. Sure enough, there was an obvious mole.
He rubbed it for a while but it didn't fall off. The butler frowned, "It seems like it didn't happen before! Could it be that it grew recently?"
Because Weston Gu wanted to hone the little one's independence, he let Miles Gu dress himself. So, the housekeeper hadn't taken care of the little one for a while.
Weston Gu narrowed his eyes, feeling worried.
"Call the doctor!"
A sudden mole might not be a good thing.
"Yes!" Uncle Lin quickly called the family doctor and informed him to come over immediately.
Thinking something had happened, Cooper Bai hurried over, but it turned out that they asked him to check the little guy's mole. After checking it, there was nothing wrong.
"Are you making such a fuss? This kind of mole can grow later in life. Miles is still young, so moles are normal!"
"Give him a blood test!" Weston Gu didn't believe his perfunctory examination.
The corner of Cooper Bai's mouth twitched. Due to the pressure from this guy, he had no choice but to take the blood from the little guy's fingertip.
"Ah!" Ali Ye woke up in pain and saw someone pricking his finger. He glared angrily and kicked him.
Cooper Bai was caught off guard and was kicked away. He staggered back and fell to the ground.
"Miles, it's me..."
"Why did you prick my finger?" Ali Ye clenched his little hand, furious, and yelled at the same time.
This man was really hateful. He actually stabbed him while he was sleeping!
Cooper Bai was speechless at the little guy's accusation. He stood up and looked at Weston Gu.
