chapter 14 Misunderstood as a couple

The moment Layla Li leaned down, Allen Chen felt a softness in his chest.
Layla Li, on the other hand, felt his strong manly chest.
Since her divorce from her ex-husband four or five years ago, this was the first time she had come into contact with a man's body.
This touch made her whole body feel hot. Her legs unconsciously tightened, and she couldn't fasten the seatbelt buckle.
Oddly, her movements, rubbing against him, ignited a fiery feeling in Allen Chen, almost causing a physical reaction.
"Phew, it's buckled up." Layla Li exhaled, her voice shaky. She couldn't take it anymore.
Especially when she glimpsed the slightly protruding area below Allen Chen, her heart raced even more, so she quickly sat up and looked away. "Mr. Chen, which hospital are you planning to go to?"

The treatment quality at Tianmei Hospital was indeed good, especially when Layla Li personally brought in a patient. The quality was beyond doubt.

"How are you feeling?" Layla Li walked in with a few sets of suits.

"They're for you to wear. I'm sorry about earlier when my car malfunctioned, and you almost got hurt," Layla Li said.
Allen Chen shook his head and said, "Sister Layla, that's all in the past. Can we move on from it?"

Allen Chen's heart inexplicably raced for a moment. "What happened with the car malfunction?"

"You saying that only makes me more worried," Allen Chen said, holding her hand without realizing it.

Layla Li lightly patted his chest. "You're naughty, making fun of me!"
"You're naughty too, acting all cute with me. My heart has been racing so much, I almost suffocated," he said, unable to control himself when he saw her acting like a little girl.
Being alone together in a room could easily lead to a spark.

"It's okay," Allen Chen smiled and naturally picked up Grace, placing her on his shoulder. "Up high."
"Hehe!" Grace immediately laughed, her eyes like crescent moons.
Seeing this heartwarming scene, Layla Li suddenly lost herself, gazing at them as though she was watching a father and daughter.
The people around them looked at the three of them as if they were a family.
"Such a handsome man and a beautiful woman, their family is so good-looking."
"It's so harmonious. Look at you, you stubborn man. Your son has grown so much; have you ever hugged him?"
"This is the true meaning of a romantic man!"
"They look like such a sweet family."

Hearing the comments from those around them, Layla Li's cheeks turned red and her heart was pounding. She didn't explain anything. She followed Allen Chen and walked slowly like a little woman.
After walking for a while, Allen Chen felt that the number of glances over him was increasing, and he said with some embarrassment, "Sister Layla, I'm sorry, they misunderstood."
