"Manager Su, there's a person outside who asked me to give this letter to you."
In a lavishly decorated office, a woman dressed in professional attire looked at the figure in the chair and slowly placed an envelope down. Her face was full of strangeness.
"A letter?" The enchanting voice carried a hint of laziness and puzzlement.
As the words fell, the figure on the chair slowly stood up, revealing an instantly captivating figure. It was an extraordinarily beautiful woman. She extended her delicate hand and took the envelope. When she saw the two prominent characters on it, her attractive brows slightly furrowed.
"Divorce letter?"
The two characters were written with a fine and beautiful brush. Upon opening the letter, a strong ink scent rushed out, and her gaze was quickly drawn to the powerful font at the top.
The content was brief, but these few lines clearly conveyed the message within.
"Luna Su, we were promised in childhood as husband and wife. Now, after ten years of separation, out of consideration for the face of the Su family, I find it hard to speak directly. I am now informing you with this divorce letter. It's a settled matter. I hope you won't be stubborn."
"Leave a message, Jeff Jiang!"
That little rascal?
In Luna Su's mind, a figure instantly appeared. Her jade-like hand involuntarily clenched. Even her exquisitely beautiful face showed a hint of blush.
"Manager Su, it's probably someone's prank!"
The secretary couldn't help but speak up.
"No!"
Luna Su shook her head, slowly collecting the letter. A bright and captivating smile appeared, and she spoke slowly, "I've really been divorced by someone!"
"Ah?"
The secretary, upon hearing this, opened her small mouth, her face filled with disbelief.
Luna Su held a prominent position, being the first goddess of Yanjing. Despite her young age, she had turned the conglomerate into one of the top ten enterprises in Yanjing. Because of this, many noble offspring pursued her, but they were all rejected by Luna Su.
And now, she had actually been divorced by someone?
"Is he still here?" Luna Su looked at the secretary.
"He left!"
Hearing Luna Su's words, the secretary couldn't help but come back to her senses. "He left after leaving the letter!"
"Gone?"
Luna Su closed her eyes, leaning back on the sofa. After a while, she opened her beautiful eyes. "It's good that he's gone, but... am I, Luna Su, someone he can divorce with just a word?"
...
Yanjing Medical University.
In a meeting room, three teachers were seated. Their gazes occasionally fell on the vice-dean and a young man with a refined appearance.
There was surprise and puzzlement!
"Director Zhang hasn't arrived yet?"
Eric Wang furrowed his brows slightly. "Never mind, let's not wait for him."
Saying this, he looked at the young man beside him and said, "Jeff Jiang, introduce yourself to everyone first!"
The young man looked somewhat strange. Finally, he stood up politely and said, "Hello, everyone, I'm Jeff Jiang, from Jiangling City. I hope to have everyone's support in the future!"
With this brief introduction, Jeff Jiang sat down, his refined face filled with confusion.
He had only come here to be a student. Why make such a big fuss?
Just as he was surprised, Eric Wang's voice slowly rang out, "Jeff Jiang hasn't finished speaking. Let me help him. He comes from a prestigious family of traditional Chinese medicine in our country. He was recommended by one of my former mentors."
"The position of the Class 4 advisor in our third year of the Traditional Chinese Medicine department happens to be vacant, and I plan to appoint him to the role!"
As soon as Eric Wang said this, the teachers present were full of shock.
Indeed, no matter how you looked at Jeff Jiang, he was still a wet-behind-the-ears youth. What qualifications did he have to be a class advisor?
So young, being a student was about right.
Teaching too?
He probably couldn't even accurately diagnose a patient!
"Vice-Dean, I disagree!"
When the teachers present were discussing, a middle-aged man entered the room.
The newcomer was none other than Director Zhang, the head of the teaching department.
After he sat down, he glanced at Jeff Jiang and said, "He just arrived at the school. It's not appropriate for him to take on the role of class advisor directly!"
"Besides, he's too young and lacks qualifications. If we act hastily, it will certainly affect the reputation of the college!"
At this point, Director Zhang's voice paused, a smile appearing on his face. "Especially in Class 4, the students are unruly and their grades have always been less than satisfactory. I believe the role of class advisor requires someone with better abilities!"
"And our school's teacher, Jim Song, comes from a prestigious background. His parents are shareholders of our institute, making him the best choice!"
As Director Zhang finished speaking, the five teachers nodded in agreement.
Jeff Jiang, sitting on the side, remained silent.
Indeed, for Eric Wang to announce him as a class advisor, he was also bewildered.
He had requested a recommendation letter from the elders of his family to become a student. How had he ended up becoming a teacher?
"Let's not discuss it further."
Eric Wang's voice resounded with authority. He looked at Director Zhang and said, "If you have objections, you can discuss it with Dean Lin! But for today, this matter is settled!"
With that, Eric Wang turned his gaze to Jeff Jiang and said, "Jeff Jiang, go and report to Class 4 of the third year of the Traditional Chinese Medicine department. The rest can disperse!"
Although he also thought Jeff Jiang was a bit young, he trusted the person who had recommended him.
As Eric Wang left, the teachers in the room also left. However, when their gazes fell on Jeff Jiang, there was a noticeable sense of indifference and displeasure.
Especially Director Zhang, his gaze towards him was clearly filled with ill will and mockery.
Class 4 wasn't something just anyone could handle. The previous teacher couldn't, and Jeff Jiang was definitely not suitable.
But Jeff Jiang didn't pay attention to this.
Although being a teacher wasn't his original intention, he would eventually shut these people up.
This was not only his confidence, but also his capability.
Leaving the meeting room, a commotion suddenly came from the corridor. Shortly after, several students rushed out of the classroom, their expressions anxious as they ran towards them.
"Director Zhang, something's happened. A parent from the third year of the Western Medicine department has come to see a student. They suddenly had a seizure. You should go and take a look."
Upon hearing this, Director Zhang frowned slightly and quickly walked forward.
At the same time, the other teachers followed. Jeff Jiang's figure was also among them.
After a short walk, Director Zhang and a few teachers arrived at Class 1 of the third year of the Western Medicine department.
Upon entering the classroom, they saw an old lady lying on the ground, her body convulsing violently, her face incredibly pale.
Beside the old woman, a black-haired woman squatted down, and even from a side view, her appearance was remarkable.
At this moment, she was performing CPR for the old lady with folded hands.
Director Zhang saw the woman and breathed a sigh of relief.
Diana Lin, returning from a prestigious overseas university, her diagnostic ability and even her medical skills surpassed the other teachers in the Western Medicine department. Moreover, Diana Lin's background was not simple.
Her granduncle was not only the honorary dean of this school, but also the dean of a large hospital. He controlled the entire school's resource allocation. Many students with excellent academic performance were arranged to work in the hospital. So even the board members of the school didn't dare to offend easily.
And her paternal grandfather was even more remarkable, a pillar of the business world. The Lin Group under him was definitely within the top ten in Yanjing.
Even Director Zhang, in front of her family, wasn't considered much.
Just as he was about to ask something, a helpless voice spoke first, "Miss, if you continue on, this old lady will be heading to the netherworld."
