Aiden Ye nodded right away, signaling her to get up.
"Thank you, young master," Maple stood up after his gesture.
"Maple, I'm a few years younger than you, so I'll call you 'sister,' and you can just call me Aiden," Aiden Ye said.
"No, I've sworn an oath that the owner of this courtyard is my master, and you mustn't call me 'sister'," Maple replied seriously.
Aiden Ye didn't insist further and said, "Alright then, Maple, prepare a few rooms. I'm going to have some friends come over to stay."
"Yes, young master," Maple bowed to Aiden Ye and then went off to prepare, leaving him with a graceful view of her retreating figure.
It has to be said that Maple's looks and figure were top-notch.
With a height of 1.7 meters, delicate features, and dressed in a fiery red cheongsam, she had a unique charm.

"Young master, I am here to serve you as you bathe," Maple said, her face blushing slightly.
Though serving the master was part of her duties.
It was still their first meeting, and she couldn't help feeling a bit shy.
"No, no need, I can manage on my own," Aiden Ye quickly said.
He hadn't expected that his master's housekeeping maid would also be in charge of bathing duties.
Does that mean she's also responsible for warming his bed?
His master really knew how to play.
Hearing Aiden Ye's words, Maple paused for a moment, and then a look of disappointment crossed her face, "Do you find Maple unattractive?"
"Of course not..."
"Then, do you think there's something wrong with my figure?"

"Do you not like Maple then?" she asked.

"Well, Maple, I've been up in the mountains for a while and got used to bathing on my own. Please step out," Aiden Ye managed to say, suppressing the turmoil inside him.
"Alright then." Maple quietly stepped out of the bath and, taking her cheongsam, left Aiden Ye's line of sight.
Only after Maple was gone did Aiden Ye let out a sigh of relief.
He slapped his forehead and muttered to himself, "Get a grip. It's not like you've never been around women!"
In fact, it had been many years since Aiden Ye had been with a woman.
Three years in the mountains, two years married into the Shen family.
At least five years without any deep interaction with a woman.
Plus, Maple was really beautiful, with a hot figure, and for a moment, Aiden Ye found himself unexpectedly reacting physically.

He did the laundry, cooked, and served the Shen family without even having the right to eat at the table.

Yet, he had dedicated himself to the Shen family without regret, only to end up having his other kidney taken from him.
"Maple, sit down and eat with me," Aiden Ye said to her.
But Maple shook her head.
"This is an order!"
Seeing Aiden Ye's stern face, Maple finally sat down obediently.
The night passed without incident, and early the next day, Aiden Ye left the house, ready to look for some herbs to treat Xandra Ning's eyes.
Elsa Shen was really ruthless, causing devastating damage to Xandra Ning's eyes.
Under normal circumstances, even the best hospital couldn't heal her.
But Aiden Ye had the Nine Turns Golden Needle and some special herbs, which gave him complete confidence that he could restore Xandra Ning's sight.
