by Rosan 17:01,Oct 30,2023
Seeing Wyatt, Dale Woods was instantly stunned, her eyes filled with astonishment.
Eartha, too, was stunned for a moment, and laughed contemptuously, "Here I was, wondering who it was, turns out, the rapist has been released!"
"Let me go, or I'll make you regret it!"
Wyatt did not let go and said coldly, "Apologize to my mother!"
"Apologize?"
Eartha said wearing a sarcastic expression all over her face, "As if! She does not deserve it. Your whole family is a bunch of trashy people!"
"Slap!"
Without any hesitation, Wyatt slapped her in the face.
"How dare you hit me?"
She was dumbfounded, and shrilled, "Bill, why haven't you come out? Your wife was beaten!"
Shortly, a middle-aged man with sharp features and prominent cheeks walked out of the house.
He was Bill Thomas, Eartha's husband.
Behind him, two burly men followed.
All three of them were flushed and looked intoxicated. They had obviously drunk a lot of alcohol inside the house.
"Who dares to hit my woman?"
Bill said angrily with half-squinted eyes.
"It's this rapist! Bill, deal with him!"
Eartha pointed at Wyatt Sackville.
"Damn you, how dare a brat still wet-behind-the-ears like you attack my wife?"
He was all haughty, and he didn't take Wyatt seriously at all, "Moore, Lewis, take him down!"
Then, the three people's fists, the size of sandbags, came crashing toward Wyatt.
"Birds of a feather!"
Wyatt said icily, as he swiftly reached out to grab Moore and Lewis's fists, and twisted them hard.
"Crack!"
The sound of bones cracking resounded, and the two people cried out in pain, "Ah!"
At the same time, he lifted one hand and thrust his palm on Bill violently.
"Boom!"
He was sent flying backward five to six meters away, lying on the ground, and unable to stand up.
The three people snapped out of their drunken state, and they all stared at Wyatt in fear.
How could this kid be so powerful?
Even Eartha was stunned, with her mouth slightly agape.
She was clearly shocked.
Dale also looked surprised.
She knew what her son was capable of, how did he suddenly become so powerful?
"Apologize! Otherwise, I will destroy you!"
Wyatt barked coldly again.
"Sor, sorry!"
Bill and the other two other men immediately kept their temper and promptly apologized, while continuously signaling to Eartha.
Although she was reluctant, she eventually apologized, "Dale, I'm sorry!"
Dale ignored their apologies, turned around, and walked toward the house.
Wyatt quickly followed.
"Slap!"
As soon as he entered the room, a heavy slap landed squarely on his face.
With tears in her eyes, Dale stared straight at Wyatt with complex emotions.
She was angry yet distressed at the same time.
"Rascal, tell me, have you committed those heinous acts?"
Dale asked loudly.
Seeing more white hairs on his mother's head, Wyatt felt a surge of guilt in his heart.
Since young, his mother taught him to be an upright person.
How heartbroken his mother must have been when she heard that he was imprisoned for attempting to rape!
Moreover, in the past three years, his mother must have suffered a lot of ridicule and hurt because of him.
He... he feels most sorry for his mother!
"Mom, I was wrong!"
Wyatt's eyes turned red, and felt the weight of his words as he uttered, "I've let you down for the past three years!"
"I have always kept your teachings in mind and have never done anything unlawful."
Dale remained silent, waiting for more explanation.
"The reason why I ended up in prison was merely because I took the blame for someone else."
Continuing, he went on to talk about the details of the situation that played out.
Dale was visibly relieved, revealing a smile not seen in three years, "That's good, as long as you have not done it!"
"I will take your word for it!"
"Regardless of what outsiders think of you, you are still my son!"
Hearing this, Wyatt was deeply moved.
Only his mother would believe him unconditionally!
"Come with me!"
Dale pulled him into a room.
There sat two spiritual tablets inside.
"Kneel!"
She ordered.
Wyatt knelt in front of the two spiritual tablets.
"The Sackville family is full of loyal and brave individuals. Your grandfather and father were both soldiers and died fighting to defend the Land of the Red Dragon."
"Mom doesn't need you to rise above others, but I also don't want you to do anything harmful that brings disgrace to the Sackville family."
"Today, you will swear before your grandfather and father's spiritual tablet and promise me this!"
Dale said solemnly.
He nodded and swore, "I, Wyatt Sackville, hereby swear that I will never do anything unlawful and live my life in justice!"
With that, Dale was satisfied, she guided him to the living room and sat down.
"Mom knows that you joined the Xenos family to treat my illness. You and Lady Xenos had no relationship foundation. But now, it seems you have developed feelings for that girl."
She said with a smile.
Wyatt blushed uncontrollably.
Seeing this, her smile deepened even more, "Lady Xenos is very good. She visited me several times after you were imprisoned! Since you like her, go ahead and pursue her. Mom supports you!"
She paused, her face suddenly lit up with unparalleled confidence, "Be confident, there is no one you are not worthy of!"
He was a little surprised by his mother's comment but was elated to have his mother's support and nodded firmly.
Then, the pair of mother and son chatted for a while. Suddenly, Wyatt thought of his sister and asked, "Mom, where is Griselda?"
"Your sister is in school! It's been three years. She's just about to graduate from college!"
Dale sighed.
"I haven't seen that girl in three years. I'm going to the school to see her."
A longing expression appeared on Wyatt's face once again.
"Go ahead."
Dale said with a soft smile.
After that, Wyatt left home.
On the way, he kept thinking of his mother's appearance which looked much older, and he felt extremely guilty.
He thought of a saying, "while parents are still alive, life has a destination; when parents are gone, life is only left with the journey back home".
His father died when he was born, leaving him with only his mother.
Now that he has the ability, he must fulfill his filial duties so that his mother never has to suffer any further grievances again.
With this thought, he couldn't help but clenched his fist.

Half an hour later.
Wyatt arrived at the gate of a university.
Joselake City University, the best university in Joselake City, is also one of the best in the country.
He found his sister's class by memory.
"Excuse me, is Griselda Sackville here?"
Wyatt asked the student closest to him.
It was a female student, dressed in luxury goods from head to toe. She was, without a doubt, from a wealthy family, although her appearance was slightly underwhelming.
Upon hearing the name Griselda Sackville, a trace of disgust flashed across her face.
"Who are you? Why are looking for Griselda?"
Hedda Parker asked coldly.
"I'm her brother. I am here to visit her."
Wyatt replied.
"Are you her rapist brother? Truly, what a person of great talent you are!"
Hedda was a little surprised, with contempt on her face, and then she chuckled.
Wyatt frowned.
But heard Hedda saying, "She is not in school now, she is with others playing at Fantasy KTV! A friendly reminder, she is in private room v9, no need to thank me!"
Wyatt was somewhat puzzled.
Doesn’t my sister usually avoid these places?
To verify the truth, he left quickly.
Watching Wyatt's retreating figure, a look of resentment surfaced on Hedda's face, "Griselda Sackville, you whore, you dare to steal my man! Seeing you in depravity, your brother will likely make a fuss and embarrass you in public! "
