chapter 13 frame up

by Maria 18:42,Nov 06,2023
"Master Elias, hurry and save Ayat! Ayat has been taken away by the family's Law Enforcement Hall and is being interrogated with severe torture!"
Elias had just stepped out of his room when a servant rushed into the courtyard, urgently delivering the news.
"Ayane, what happened?"
"What's wrong with Ayat?"
Elias's gaze turned cold.
Ayane, among the servants of the Ye family, was one of the few who had a close and good relationship with Ayat.
"Young Master Osamu lost a True Spirit Pill, and Suubi testified that she saw Ayat secretly leaving Young Master Osamu's room.
"The family's Law Enforcement Hall, led by the Ye steward, took Ayat away for questioning."
"Master Elias, please save Ayat; otherwise, they might beat him to death."
Ayane explained anxiously.
"Who is Suubi?"
Elias's eyes showed a chilling determination.
"Suubi is Young Master Osamu's maid."
Ayane replied.
"Osamu!"
"Well, very well!"
"You dare touch someone under Elias. You truly don't know what's good for you!"
In an instant, an extremely cold aura emanated from Elias.
His eyes flashed with bone-chilling intent.
Elias was one hundred percent certain that this was a frame-up against Ayat.
Since the age of six, Ayat had been in the Ye family, always by Elias's side.
When Elias became a useless person, most of the servants in the Ye family treated him like a plague, avoiding him.
Ayat, on the other hand, remained unchanged, showing even more care and understanding towards Elias.
It can be said that, though Ayat is nominally Elias's maid, in Elias's heart, he has always treated Ayat as his own younger sister.
Anyone daring to harm Ayat is tantamount to crossing Elias's bottom line.
"Heh, the Ye family doesn't regard me, the young master, as a young master."
"It's time to perform a little surgery on the Ye family and eliminate some troubles."
Elias sneered.
"Ayane, thank you for delivering the message."
"You don't need to get involved in what happens next."
Elias said as he returned to his room, took a long sword, exuding a murderous aura, and strode towards the direction of the Law Enforcement Hall.
The Ye family's Law Enforcement Hall was situated to the west of the family mansion.
"Stop!"
"Law Enforcement Hall is a restricted area."
"No one is allowed to enter without permission!"
Two guards outside the Law Enforcement Hall saw Elias approaching with a sword and shouted in unison.
Over the years, the family's Law Enforcement Hall had effectively fallen under the control of Homer and his two sons.
Therefore, the people from the Law Enforcement Hall had no regard for Elias, the so-called young master of the Ye family.
"Who dares to stop me? Die."
Elias coldly declared, walking into the Law Enforcement Hall.
"Bold!"
"Elias, you useless waste. You don't respect the Law Enforcement Hall..."
One of the guards infuriated, stepped forward to block Elias.
Swish!
A chilling sword light swept by, severing the guard's head, which flew off, blood splattering.
"Rubbish, you...you..."
The other guard, face pale with terror, continuously retreated, unable to complete his words.
Puff!
The long sword in Elias's hand pierced the guard's throat, passed through his body, and a blood arrow spattered out.
Plunging the sword into his throat, Elias withdrew the sword without looking back and proceeded into the Law Enforcement Hall.
Inside the Law Enforcement Hall at that moment.
"You, this little wretch, now with both witness and evidence, do you still dare to quibble?"
"This True Spirit Pill was found on your person!"
A voice filled with cruelty rang out. A man of medium build, Amos Ye, sneered, holding a True Spirit Pill in his palm.
Amos was the steward of the Law Enforcement Hall.
Though the hall itself was supervised by the family's second elder, Grady Ye.
However, Amos usually managed it personally, with Grady directing from behind the scenes.
Grady belonged to Homer's faction.
A young girl of about fifteen or sixteen knelt on the ground, both sides of her face covered in handprints, swollen and tear-streaked, her expression frightened.
It was Ayat.
"Steward Ye, I...I didn't steal the True Spirit Pill."
"That True Spirit Pill was not found on me."
Ayat explained with a pale face, appearing very afraid.
"Humph, still trying to deny it!"
"Suubi, tell us what you saw."
Amos sneered.
"I went out today to help the young master purchase daily necessities, and Young Master Osamu was also out."
"So, there was no one guarding the young master's courtyard."
"When I returned, I saw Ayat leaving in a panic from Young Master Osamu's room."
"After Young Master Osamu came back, he discovered that a True Spirit Pill was missing."
Suubi, a maid, spoke with a mocking look as she gazed at Ayat.
Previously, when Elias was still a genius, she felt inferior and couldn't lift her head in front of Ayat.
Now, things were different.
With Elias becoming a useless person, Osamu and Iwao, the two brothers, became the leading figures of the younger generation in the Ye family.
As Osamu's maid, her status naturally rose.
"You wretched girl, with both physical and testimonial evidence, you have no choice but to confess now!"
"According to the rules of the Ye family, if a servant commits the crime of theft, they are to be severely punished with no leniency.”
"Now, there are two options before you."
"First, have both hands and feet severed and be expelled from the Ye family."
"Second, reveal the mastermind behind you."
"Speak now!"
"Was someone instructing you to do this?”
Amos sternly rebuked.
"No... Steward Ye, I'm innocent, please believe me..."
Ayat trembled in fear.
"Humph, spare me the nonsense. Wretch, which one will you choose?"
Amos demanded.
"No, I won't choose either. I want to stay by Young Master Elias's side and continue serving him!"
Ayat, frightened, retreated to the corner, shaking her head.
"Humph, little wretch, you don't have a say. Fine, since you've chosen this attitude, I'll consider it as you opting for the first choice."
"Come, cut off her hands and feet and expel her from the Ye family."
Amos cruelly ordered.
"Yes!"
Immediately, two house servants stepped forward, wielding sharp long knives, approaching Ayat, who was kneeling in the corner with a sinister smile.
"No..."
"Steward Ye, please, spare me..."
Ayat quivered in fear.
"If you want me to spare you, it's simple. Just point out that Elias, that useless waste, was behind instructing you to steal the True Spirit Pill, and I will spare you."
Amos took a step forward, bent down, and in a chilling tone, whispered each word into Ayat's ear.
Amos intended to force Ayat to admit that Elias was the mastermind.
This framing was, on the surface, against Ayat, but in reality, it was a targeted plot against Elias!
The young master of the Ye family, instructing his maid to steal Spiritual Pills – if this accusation stuck, it would be a severe blow to Elias and his father.
Now, during the critical moment of Homer's power struggle, the father and son were doing everything they could to tarnish Elias and his father's reputation for a smooth takeover.
"No!"
"I didn't steal the True Spirit Pill, and certainly not under Young Master Elias's instructions."
"Steward Ye, please believe me..."
Ayat desperately shook her head.
Snap!
Amos slapped Ayat across the face.
Ayat's fragile figure was sent flying and crashed to the ground.
"Sever her hands and feet, throw her out of the Ye family gates!"
Amos commanded.
Just at that moment, a figure rushed into the Law Enforcement Hall and lifted Ayat.
It was Elias.
Elias lifted Ayat with his left hand, a sword in his right, blood continuously dripping from the sword.
"Ayat, I'm sorry, I'm late."
Elias looked at Ayat's swollen face and bleeding mouth, feeling deeply distressed, and softly spoke.
