Chapter 12: Nickname

In Hospital.

Melissa did not listen to Marvin’s word, and she also did not follow them to the rescue room. She just went back to the office to pack things.

She's going to leave here.

This is a place full of shame and hatred, she shouldn't linger here in a blameless manner.

Marvin raised a blood-stained surgical knife in his hand and stared at her with red eyes. "Does this surgical knife belongs to you?"

Melissa glanced at it and then nodded, "It's mine. Is there a problem?"
She loves scalpels very much. She has a set of surgical instruments for her own, all engraved with her own nickname: Melissa loves Marvin.

She gave this nickname to herself after she first met him thirteen years ago.

Marvin, Melissa.

Melissa loves Marvin.

Now looking at these four words, she felt dazzling and ironic.

Marvin’s hand shaking because he held too tightly. He gritted his teeth and said.

"Will you said that Sally’s mother was not stabbed by you?"

"You mean, it was this scalpel that stabbed her?" Melissa never think of this.

Sally came forward with red eyes and then choked, "Melissa, how can you be so vicious, you can hate me if you do not like me, why did you slander my children and my mother…… Melissa, why are you so cruel, you might as well stab me to death!

Sally was going to seize the scalpel in Marvin’s hand after her finished her words.

Melissa act first and took her scalpel back from Marvin quickly.

"Sally, you are not worthy to die under my scalpel! My scalpel can kill gods and ghosts, but it will not be infected with your mother and daughter's blood! " Melissa said coldly, and then turned around to pick up cotton swab, and dipped it in alcohol, and then began to wipe
the bloodstains on the scalpel carefully.

“You stand here, I am afraid that she will hurt you.” Marvin pulled Sally and gave her a gentle explain. Then he looked at Jack coldly,” Melissa, you are destroying evidence!"

"Ha-ha." Melissa laughed indifferently and sadly, and continued her action, "Marvin, if I did it, do you think I would not stab the big artery but stab the vein next to it?"

I was silly, but I was not so silly as to kill with my own knife!"

She put down the cotton swab after finished her words, and then looked at Marvin, she raised her hand and shook the scalpel in her hand and said. "Marvin, if I told you, I never did bad things to the baby of Sally and her mother. Do you believe it?

"What’s the evidence?" Marvin asked coldly.

But his hand hanging on the side of the body is squeezed tightly .

The cold light refracted from the scalpel reflected in her eyes, which made her clear eyes ooze out of the cold that did not match her. Beside it, there were despair show in her eyes.
