Chapter 14 Cold by nature

“Your grandma is having a rest in the backyard. No hurry. Just take a seat and chat with your sisters.” Mrs. Hua stood up and said smilingly.

She didn’t want the people’s ardor to be cooled due to the way Susie talked.

In fact, no one of them was disappointed as they had not strong connection with Susie.

Selina the third daughter of the Hua Family took a look on her watch impatiently then started to leave with grabbing her coat and said: “I can’t have the meal with you because I am down for an interview this noon and should go to put my make-up after a while.”

Selina is the superstar of the high-end,magnificent and classy kind. She is in the the film industry and those who want to cooperate her are famous stars too,

So she is a little arrogant and pushy.

When she passed Susie by, she paused and said to her: “Susie, we won’t get over with the matter of Danny Xie. Is the coquette who hooked him up named Snow Liang? I will make her be unable to carry on in the entertainment circle. Such a shameless coquette.”

Selina had left before Susie started to speak.

She is always in such a hurry……

“Susie, come here to have a tea with Leo.” Mrs. Hua said smilingly.

Susie looked back at Leo Jiang and asked him: “Do you like to drink tea?”

Then, Susie left without looking back or showing regard for the families’ face.

Then he just sat on the couch unpleasantly and chatted with Hua Family members.

Sophia the second daughter of Hua Family said coldly: “Susie has been spoiled by my grandma and is not so courteous. She is cold by nature and has no feeling for our family. So, please get used to it.”

“Sophia, stop talking nonsense.” His father scolded her in a hurry.

Sophia went too far increasingly and became talking more and more emotionally.

Susan the fourth daughter is a couple of years older than Susie. She is introvert and always was reading a history book without any interest in such ridiculous chat.

Leo Jiang also felt uneasy as he heard what Sophia had said.

Susie is his wife after all!

So he retorted smilingly: “Susie and I have compatible character and my parents also like her very much and don’t think she is cold by nature. As for Danny Xie, he has nothing to do with Susie now and won’t have the chance no matter what temper he has. Anyone who dares to touch Susie in the future is the one makes things difficult for our Jiang Family and me Leo Jiang.”

The Hua Family members all became silent after hearing Leo Jiang’s words……How respectful he was to Susie!

Didn’t they know each other before? Did they just meet on the wedding? Why did Leo Jiang protect her like that?
