Chapter 5

Eva gathered her leather bag from the table and tightly hugged Sam and Jake for last time before leaving the bar. She was happy. Beaming in joy.

That was probably the first time in her whole life that she had that much fun. She thanked the Lord for putting the thought in her head to dress sexily.

Everyone in the club had been dressed so nicely that if she would have gone in simple jeans and Tee, it would have been hell awkward for her.

She did not know what took over her. She never dolled up. But today, she wanted to relish herself. Her life. And moreover, Jake came to her house to help her in getting ready for the bash.

He was sweet. So much sweet that it brought tears in her eyes when he brought a collection of matching belt and shoes with him from his home to doll her up when she described her outfit to him over the phone.

She was shocked. Eyes wide and bulging at the huge collection of girly things. Then he explained that he was a drag queen in a gay club.

Well, and that explains enough.

By the way, who even does that? And that too, for a person who is not even a proper friend right now?

Is this what friendship feels like? So pure and so loving?

Earlier at the office that day, she had a great morning while discussing and sending the approved blueprints of her work to the Woodlands Company through email. It was a great start.

Later that afternoon she had received a big bouquet of calla lilies. She was hell shocked. No one sent anything to her ever. Her parents were dead and she had not have any relatives or friends.

She was brought up in an orphanage since birth. She had worked her ass off to reach at the position that she was on right now.

She thought this must be a misunderstanding. Someone must have sent those flowers mistakenly to her. But then she could not ignore the note that was attached to it and her name was written on the top in beautiful, cursive letters. She opened the card and it read,

'Congrats Eva. We are very happy to have you with us. You are a family from now on. Thanks for coming into our lives and joining us.'

Rush And Liam

Woodlands Company

She was confused. What was all that? She showed it to Sam.

They both came to the conclusion that this might be a way to show the gratitude of those big companies. And Woodlands was not small at all.

She put those lilies in the vase that was on her desk. A smile came on her lips as she decided, those flowers were her new favourites from now on.

And then in the evening, she left the office early to get ready for the party. Her life was getting better and better.

She was leaving her loneliness behind and joining the loud beautiful party called life in its wildness.

Sam came to pick Jake and her up when it was time to go and they decided to go to the nearby bar. And guess who had a blast while dancing and drinking and doing crazy shit till midnight?

Not so hard to guess, right?

She exited the bar. Sam had called a cab for her. It would be here in a few minutes.

He did not want to leave her alone in the middle of the street but it was getting late and jake was drunk as hell. And the cab was five minutes away anyway. So she ordered him to stop worrying about her and take Jake home.

She had had drunk beyond her usual limit today. Though she was not tipsy at all. It just felt too good and giddy in her heart.

She stood on the sidewalk waiting for the cab. Her hand came up to her neck and started rubbing slow deliberate circles there. It was feeling extra tingly and sensitive.

She closed her eyes with a sigh and then a beautiful erotic image of her in between Rush and Liam, naked, breathless with pleasure flashed in front of her eyes.

Two sets of eyes were watching her every move since the evening when she had left her apartment. Rush and Liam had sent flowers to her in the afternoon. The most special, expensive and chosen ones for their beloved beautiful mate.

But it was not enough for them. They were craving for her. For her one touch and her fragrance.

Rush was getting impatient. He was going ballistic. Liam looked calm but he also had a storm swirling inside him.

Rush was poking him every minute that day to go grab Eva, kidnap her if needed and tell her the truth. He was dying to have her his arms just as Liam. They wanted to claim her.

In the evening they decided to tell her the truth. But when they called her office in the evening, they got to know that she had already left the office.

So they reached her apartment. It was not hard for them. Though when they were fighting in the car over the idea of going inside her apartment and scaring her to death, they saw her coming out of there looking sexy as fuck in a stunning, knee length maroon dress.

Rush had to grab Liam forcefully when they saw a man coming out of her apartment and snaking a hand in her waist. Rush's face was all red in anger. As they saw them together, Liam's fist lifted up to smash the steering wheel repeatedly so that he could stop himself from killing the man on the spot.

Was he her boyfriend?

Then they saw a car stopping in front of them. Sam was there to pick them up.

"What the hell is going on?" Liam growled out loudly, "Who the hell is that motherfucker with her and why is he touching her?"

"I am going to kill that bastard if he is her boyfriend." Rush snapped.
