After Chad pulled away from me, I stared at him with a lost expression. There was no way in the world I was seeing things right.

I widened my eyes, closed them, reopened them to his presence. "Wh..why are you here?" I stuttered, trying to process what had just happened between us. I was lost on why he would show up.

"Are you going to let me in?" He ran his fingers through his hair.
