Chapter 1

Daniella shivered as she walked down the snow filled streets in Massachusetts. No, she is not homeless. She is temporarily staying in a motel up the street. As of right now though she was on her way to the store because she forgot to pick up her dinner. It would have been nice to know there was going to be a blizzard, though, should have checked the news. She thought to herself as the wind blew again causing more snow to touch her body.

But then she would be reminded of how people are still looking for my body. She thought wryly.

Daniella sighed as she put her cold hands in her pockets and walked into the fast food place.

"What can I get you?" The girl asked as her eyes skimmed over Daniella's outfit and she rolled her eyes and scoffed. It wasn't very surprising because it was a normal thing to happen to her. She always thought she wasn't exactly the prettiest. But what girl doesn't say that. Her hair is normal a light red color but as of right now it was a dark brown color mixed with caramel golden streaks and blonde highlights. It only goes down to right under her chest. But the thing about her hair is its never done nicely. She can't afford to buy the nice conditioner or the Victoria secret body sprays, that of course never bothered her since she didn't care for that stuff. She use to wear glasses when she was about sixteen but her eye sight slowly got better as she got older.

Unlike all the other girls Daniella did not wear designer pants and shirts. She didn't care to have designer purses either. She simply couldn't afford it. She's lucky enough to be able to buy food once a day. She thought as she took her hands out of her pocket. She only had a little bit of money since she couldn't grab more after that day.

"I'm here for pick up," Daniella said quietly.

"Name?" The lady demanded rudely.

"Izzy Johnson." Daniella lied, using her fake name and the young girl rolled her eyes not noticing the lie. She grabbed her small bag and set it on the counter so she could look through it better.

"That will be $9.50" She said and Daniella grabbed out her wallet and started looking for her last $10 bill. After a minute of Daniella searching the lady sighed annoyed.

"Listen sweetheart. You obviously can't afford this meal so you might as well leave." She said flipping her auburn hair over her shoulder.

"No worries. I'll pay." A man said handing the lady a credit card and Daniella jumped a little and let out a small surprised gasp.

"Sir, you don't need to do that I have the money. " She said while shaking her head quickly and the girl at the counter giggled loudly obviously trying to get the man's attention on her.

"It's fine. I don't mind at all." He said flashing Daniella a smile that seemed to captivate her. This man is really handsome, she thought to her self. She noticed he had a perfect jaw structure and a perfect size nose. His icy blue eyes were beautiful and his dirty blonde hair was perfect in its quiff. Even though Daniella was pretty tall at the height of 5'8. He still towered over her petite body, he had to be at least 6'2 maybe even 6'3, She thought at she looked at him.

"Your order will be right up." The girl said twisting her auburn hair around her perfectly manicured finger and Danielle's attention was turned back to her.

"Thank you." She said quietly to the man and he flashed her another perfect smile.

"I didn't see any cars outside. Did you walk here?" He asked her with an raised eyebrow and Daniella nodded slowly.

"Yes, I did." She said looking down at her old beat up boots. She frowned when she realized how beat up they actually were. They would probably have holes in them soon. She thought grimly.

"Its a blizzard out there. I can give you a ride home." He said and she shook her head. That means he would know were she lives and if for some reason he figured out who she actually was he would turn her in.

"No. I'm fine." Daniella replied shortly. That didn't seemed to bother him though as he continued to smile.

"I insist. Its cold out there. It has to be at most 10 degrees and if you add the wind chill it's probably in the negatives. Let me give you a ride. " He insisted and she looked up causing their eyes to lock. His eyes widened at something and a indescribable look flashed through his eyes.

"Here you go Izzy. I hope you have a wonderful night. Stay warm!" The girl said handing Daniella her order and she mentally scoffed at that. A handsome man comes to the counter and now she acts like they've known each other for years.

"Thank you." Dani repeated grabbing her food, getting ready to leave.

"So your name's Izzy?" The man asked starting to walk beside her.

"Yes." She lied. Her name was actually Daniella but no one can know that. No, not ever again can anyone know that.

"Well Izzy come this way. I'm giving you a ride home." He said putting his hand on her lower back guiding her to his car and automatically she flinched away from him and his hand. He seemed to notice that and frowned.

"I won't hurt you." He said bringing his hand back to his side.

"Listen it was nice meeting you. Thank you for paying for my meal. But here's the money for it. Have a wonderful night sir." She said walking the opposite way after she handed him her ten dollar bill. A few minutes later she happily realize he didn't follow her. She was grateful for that. After about ten cold minutes she was finally back at the small motel she lives at. She went up a few steps and was finally back into her own room.

"Thank goodness I can finally get out of this cold. " She muttered to herself. As soon as she was in the room she locked the door and fell back on her bed. Deep inside she knew that no matter what she couldn't get involved with that man. But a part of her craved for him and she didn't know why.
