I sped down the interstate in the car Mack had secured for me from his pack house. I wasn’t sure how long our temporary connection would last, but I ordered him to wait until nightfall to inform Tristan that I had taken a Blood Rose car. I knew I couldn’t take it all the way to the address plugged into my GPS, all pack cars had tracking devices. I would probably need to ditch my phone with the car when I stopped to run the rest of the way.
