CHAPTER 14

Onyx

The haunting silence of the black woods creeps within the bones of the creature lurking in the dark. There were flames raised up to the sky and the lava flowing beneath the ground, destroying every bit of the humanity left inside of me.

The melovacious thoughts running in my mind wanted to kill all those who possess threat to me or to my mate. Watching those blood stained claws instead of hands reminded me that I belong in the woods, and I was late to accept that truth.
