I parted my mouth open as Lukas sat on his knees. My hands immediately flew towards my mouth, slapping over it. Was he going to propose to me? But it was too soon. We did not go through the entire courting thing yet or whatever that is.

"I want you to accept my pin."

I blinked at that. My eyes immediately fell on the shiny crystal object he was holding in his hand. It was a brooch with a huge black stud surrounded by tiny diamonds. The light from it was almost blinding....
