Chapter 35 Heat

Jake heard Ashley's scream as he dashed out of the bathroom, but not forgetting to grab him a towel. He carefully rushed downstairs shouting Ashley's name before entering the living room to find a busted window, a brick on the living room table, and a shaking Ashley in the corner of the room sobbing.
