Chapter 11 YOU JERK

**Badar's pov**

Darkness was all around me. I really tried to keep my eyes open but they felt too heavy.

When my eyes next opened I was on a stretcher being taken to the operation room.

From what I can hear, I am in a coma and apparently I have been in this state for 5 days. I can hear everything but i can't open my eyes no matter how hard i try.

I can hear Mahnoor crying for me, I want to wake up but I can't. I want to comfort her, take her in my arms and tell her that I am alright now.

"But you can't, right?" a beautiful angelic voice came.

Suddenly I was on a high level and was able to look at a familiar hospital bed. Is that me and Mahnoor?

"Yes Badar, that is you and Mahnoor right beside you" the same angelic voice said.

I looked around but no one was there, who was there?

Suddenly a beautiful looking woman with ivory skin and ash blond hair that reached just below her hips was standing in front of me in an elegant long white dress, power was radiating off her.

And reality struck me, she was the moon goddess. I quickly got on one knee and bowed my head in submission.

"Moon goddess" I said while keeping my head down.

"Rise Badar, and please call me Selene"

"Umm.. thanks, excuse me Selene but where am i, am i dead?" I asked to make sure I didn't sound disrespectful.

"We are in your hospital room and you are not dead, it is just your soul" she said smiling at me.

"And why are you here, I mean it is an honor to meet you but it is not normal that you come visit people at hospitals" i asked. She lightly laughed at my question before answering it.

"That is true, well i am here to tell you that it is time for you to wake up now, your mate needs you. And also to tell you that you should start preparing for what is about to come" she said

"What is about to come, why are we supposed to be prepared for it and how are we supposed to be prepared for it?" i asked all together, not clearly understanding what she said.

"Badar you and Mahnoor are the chosen ones and are destined for greatness, i can not tell you what it is right now but you will soon find it out" she said.

"But..." suddenly she disappeared before i could finish my sentence. she was gone just as suddenly as she came.

And I was back to the darkness. I remembered moon goddess's words that it is time for me to wake up, although i have tried that whenever i hear Mahnoor's voice and i was unsuccessful, but what harm will it do if i try again, maybe it may work.

As I tried my eyes slightly opened, and I saw Mahnoor laying her head on my arm which brought a slight smile on my lips.

"You know Badar I fell in love with you the first time I saw you at that meeting, but when I found out about the attack I felt heart broken, even after you told me the truth I let my stubbornness get in the way. My ego wouldn't let me forgive you easily. I guess ego and love is not a very good combination" she said with a chuckle and sadness in her voice.

"Good night Badar, i love you" she said and fell asleep.

I wanted to tell her that I love her too and take her in my arms and comfort her but due to being weak I fell asleep too.

The next morning I woke up with Mahnoor still sleeping with her head on my arm. She was looking so beautiful as always, just like an angel. I didn't want to wake her up but keeping my arm at one place and the weight on my arm was making it numb, so i tried to move my arm slowly without waking Mahnoor up.

But my efforts were fruitless, she was awake.

She turned her head to look toward me with a shocked face.

"Good morning baby" I said to her with a smile.

And she bursts into tears, I swear this girl is too emotional.

"Oh My God, you are awake" she said while still crying.

Suddenly she grabbed my face and her lips were on mine, well since that was unexpected i wasn't able to respond immediately but i soon returned her kiss by kissing her back.

Her pink lips tasted so sweet and soft, her lips were wet from tears. When the kiss was broken, both of us were breathing heavily.

Oh My God she was looking so cute while blushing, maybe because we just kissed made her blush, the idea that i was the reason behind her blush made me smirk.

"I'll call the doctor" she said and ran out of the room, I chuckled at her innocent behavior.

Soon she returned with Dr.Miller and a nurse to my room.

Dr.Miller came towards me and started checking me. "Luna, Alpha seems fine, but i will return a bit later to run a few tests on him to be completely sure that he is ok" he said

"Thankyou doctor" Mahnoor said as he left the room with the nurse, leaving me and Mahnoor alone.

"Hi my Luna, missed me?" i said to Mahnoor with a smile, but she didn't seem to be amused by it.

She suddenly came to me and started hitting me on the arm.

"You jerk! Do you have any idea what i have been through, couldn't you have driven the car a bit more carefully, didn't you even think for once that what would have happened to me if something bad had happened to you, you selfish piece of shit" she said while continuing to hit me on the arm.

"I love you too" I said once she stopped hitting me.

"What??" she asked, not believing what I just said.

"I heard everything that you said last night" i said as i took her right hand in mine making her sit beside me on the bed.

"And i wanted to say that i love you too Mahnoor" i said and i gave a light kiss on her hand.

I brought her closer to me and gave a light peck on her lips, I wouldn't have been able to control myself if my lips were on her any second longer.

Just then the room's door opened and my dad and John came in.

As soon as Mahnoor saw them she quickly got up and went out of the room, I wanted to stop her but she was fast to get out.

I looked at my dad and John and I saw my dad was looking towards the door with anger in his eyes.

I turned towards John for an explanation and he looked at me as if he was saying that "i will explain later" and i just nodded.
