"Well..."
As they watched Tyrone Qin's departing figure, Olaf Huang and the others wore expressions of extreme excitement. They had all gained some level of notoriety within the East Beach dandy circle, and in the past, they had been the ones who arrogantly stepped on others. However, this was the first time they had been put in their place to this extent, to the point where they didn't even dare to utter a word!
If they felt this way, imagine how Fay Liang must have felt.
Under the bright lights, Fay Liang clenched his fists, and his facial muscles contorted slightly, giving him the appearance of someone on the verge of violence.
"Damn, this guy's arrogance knows no bounds!"
Once Tyrone Qin had exited the Slow Bar, all of the young men averted their gazes. Olaf Huang was the first to speak, his voice filled with anger and frustration.
"Absolutely right, we have to teach him a lesson!"
"Young Master Liang, what's the plan?"
The other young men chimed in, their collective frustration and humiliation fueling their desire to seek revenge.
"We're the porcelain, and he's just the tile. There's no need to confront him head-on; otherwise, we'll be the ones who get hurt."
Fay Liang endured the burning anger within him, standing up and suppressing his emotions. He attempted to regain his composure and spoke in a calmer tone. "However, this matter won't end like this. I'll make sure he leaves the East China Sea, flat on his back!"
With these words, Fay Liang strode out of the door, his demeanor as composed as he could manage. He understood that the public humiliation he had just endured at the hands of Tyrone Qin had left him with no room for further humiliation.
In response, Olaf Huang and the others followed Fay Liang in silence, understanding the gravity of the situation and refraining from saying anything further.
"Has the situation been resolved, Young Master Liang?"
In the first-floor lobby, Alan Wang and his companions were seated on the sofa, smoking. When they spotted Fay Liang and his entourage approaching, Alan Wang extinguished his cigarette and stood up, inquiring about the outcome.
"Manager Wang, I've noted your loyalty," Fay Liang retorted coldly, casting a disdainful glance in Alan Wang's direction before departing with Olaf Huang and the rest.
"Ha..."
Watching Fay Liang and his group leave, Alan Wang let out a derisive chuckle, clearly untroubled by Fay Liang's harsh words. While Fay Liang hailed from a prosperous family background and held a decent reputation in East Beach, it was Zhang Gu, not Fay Liang, who called the shots in their line of work.
This way, it was considered a sign of love for him to assist Fay Liang, and it was reasonable for him not to intervene. Furthermore, Zhang Gu had clearly instructed him to stay out of the matter.
"Go inside and inquire about what just happened."
After Fay Liang and the others had exited the hall, Alan Wang lit another Yellow Crane Tower 1916 and instructed one of the big men.
"Of course, Brother Tiger!"
The big man respectfully acknowledged the order, swiftly entered the Slow Bar, and returned two minutes later to provide Alan Wang with a detailed account of the incident.
Upon hearing the big man's report, Alan Wang contemplated for a moment. He then proceeded to an office by himself, retrieved his mobile phone, and dialed his superior, Zhang Gu.
"Mr. Zhang, per your instructions, I refrained from getting involved in the matter. However, Fay Liang had a confrontation with an individual—he was slapped in the face and publicly humiliated by that person. He was left without a retort..." The call was answered, and Alan Wang respectfully conveyed the report.
"I understand. Disregard this matter and treat it as though it never occurred," Zhang Gu ordered from the other end of the phone.
"Yes, Mr. Zhang."
Alan Wang complied promptly, yet he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something suspicious about this situation, although he couldn't quite pinpoint what it was.
Meanwhile, in Ziyuan Garden Villa No. 4, Diana Zhang, who had narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt, acted as if nothing had transpired. After taking a shower, she logged into her livestream room wearing a nightgown.
"Goddess Diana, you're finally here!"
"Sister Diana, I've been waiting for you all night!"
"Goddess Diana, did you just finish showering?"
As the most renowned female livestreamer in the country, Diana Zhang enjoyed immense popularity in the livestreaming realm. As soon as she went live, her fans flooded the screen. Tourists swarmed into the room, and the online viewer count soared.
"Good evening, everyone!"
Diana Zhang adjusted her damp hair and greeted her fans with a smile.
"Good evening, Sister Diana!"
"Good evening, goddess!"
Fans responded enthusiastically, inundating her with gifts that filled the screen, including fish balls and airplanes.
"I've said it many times, I'm not in need of money, you don't need to send me gifts. Why won't you listen?"
Observing the virtual gifts covering the screen, Diana Zhang didn't share the same excitement as other livestreamers. Instead, she appeared somewhat concerned.
"Diana, I'm not short on cash!"
One of the top-ten-ranked tycoon fans responded.
"Consider this a small heartfelt gift," responded the financially constrained fans.
"Sister Diana, spending my allowance on you is the best use of it. Even if I get scolded by my dad, I'd still do it willingly!" declared a third-grade primary school student.
Perhaps those fans who hadn't bought gifts were spurred on by the primary school student and sent another wave of virtual presents.
"Since you won't heed my advice, then I'll donate all the money you spend on gifts to underprivileged mountainous regions," Diana Zhang decided, realizing that she couldn't dissuade her fans from gifting her.
"Goddess Diana, the livestream was suddenly interrupted this afternoon. What happened with that middle-aged man?" asked a fan.
"Yes, Sister Diana, has the middle-aged man who disrespected you been dealt with by your bodyguard?" inquired another.
"Needless to say, that old guy must've been beaten so badly by Goddess Diana's bodyguards that even his own mother wouldn't recognize him!"
...
A fan later recalled the events from the afternoon and posed the initial question. This prompted numerous inquiries and speculations.
"You don't need to blame the man; he's a good person."
Hearing fans discussing Tyrone Qin, Diana Zhang thought back to everything that occurred on the high-speed train and couldn't help but smile.
"What?!"
"Is he still a 'good person' when he tried to show off to you?"
"Are you joking with us, Goddess Diana?"
The fans were incredulous. Diana Zhang was their goddess, and they could only admire her beauty in the livestream room. In contrast, Tyrone Qin had directly held Diana Zhang in his arms!
In such a context, Diana Zhang stating that Tyrone Qin was a good person...
This was more than 10,000 points of emotional turmoil for the fans.
"Indeed, he's a good person. Even though I included him in the livestream without his consent, he did me a big favor."
Unperturbed by the fans going wild, Diana Zhang spoke joyfully. However, she was concerned that the truth would create unnecessary sensation, so she chose to describe it as "a big help" instead.
"One hundred thousand points of emotional turmoil, I won't be able to sleep tonight!"
"Damn it, I'm going to tear that scoundrel apart. Who's with me?"
"Goddess Diana, the color of our love has shifted from pink to black!"
Diana Zhang's words once again stirred up the fans. They were highly animated, with some calling for vengeance against Tyrone Qin, others declaring their love had turned black, and some remaining silent.
"The world is so vast, can I still see you?"
Unperturbed by the fans' reactions, Diana Zhang's thoughts wandered back to the image of Tyrone Qin blocking her like a mountain. Her heart fluttered, and she couldn't help but ask herself.
