chapter 4 I'm sleepwalking

by Genevieve 17:49,Nov 20,2023

At two o'clock in the morning, I actually walked out of the master bedroom again, but I have no memory of this at all, and it can be seen from the video that I walked out with my eyes closed at the time.

I walked from the master bedroom to the living room, sat on the sofa like a puppet, then picked up the remote control and turned on the TV.

The sound coming from the TV didn't make me open my eyes, so I just sat there with my eyes closed and kept 'watching' the TV until four in the morning.

At four o'clock in the morning, I suddenly fell down on the sofa, stretched out as if asleep.

It wasn't until five in the morning that I suddenly woke up from the sofa, picked up my phone and ran out of the house.

From beginning to end, there were no concrete shoe prints on the surveillance screen.

After watching the surveillance, I was dumbfounded and my feet were numb without even moving.

I actually...actually really sleepwalked, and from beginning to end, there were no cement shoe prints...

"Are you under too much pressure from work recently..."

Bavo Jones swallowed and looked at me with a strange expression.

But he was not frightened by anything else, but by me.

"How about I give you a week's leave, and you go out for a walk to relax and then come back..."

"Maybe when it gets dark, let's go to the hospital to see..."

I grabbed my scalp hard and said to Bavo Jones very seriously: "I don't know when I started sleepwalking, but I swear to you, I really saw cement shoe prints, made by high heels. I don’t understand why the surveillance didn’t capture it…”

Bavo Jones obviously didn't believe me. He always felt that I was under too much work pressure and was hallucinating.

"Well, what we told the landlord is to sleep for two nights, and I'll sleep with you tonight."

"If you can see cement shoe prints, then I can definitely see them too, right?"

Bavo Jones is indeed my best friend and always takes care of my emotions.

I nodded and didn't refuse.

Although I had developed a resistance to the room, I wanted to prove that I actually saw cement shoe prints, otherwise I would have to admit that I should go to a psychiatrist.

It was already dawn after watching the surveillance, so Bavo Jones and I left here temporarily.

After having breakfast outside, I went back to the store to work as usual.

It's just that for the whole day, I was completely absent-minded.

I've been wondering why cement shoe prints disappear out of thin air?

Also, why did I suddenly sleepwalk?

At eight o'clock that night, Bavo Jones and I made an appointment and returned to that house together.

We bought some late-night snacks and beers, and sat in the master bedroom eating and chatting.

We talked a lot, everything from childhood to adulthood.

Speaking of which, we didn’t just childhood friend. Our fathers and grandfathers also knew each other, and we were considered family friends, so we were as close as brothers.

"Neither of us should sleep tonight. I want to see what weird things happen."

Bavo Jones was very arrogant: "Don't say that I don't believe in those things about ghosts and snake gods. Even if there is a ghost, I, Meng, will let it die again!"

Half an hour later.

We both got so drunk that we fell on the bed and fell asleep.

Because the sleep quality was so good, we both slept soundly.

But I obviously didn't sleep for long. In my daze, I heard the knock on the door again.

This time I didn't stay in bed anymore. I was so frightened that I sat up from the bed and quickly shook Bavo Jones who was sleeping like a pig.

"Don't sleep! There's someone knocking on the door!"

Bavo Jones got up from the bed with an unhappy look on his face, cursing: "Who the hell is knocking on the door in the middle of the night? You must be drunk!"

I quickly picked up the phone on the bed and took a look.

It’s twelve o’clock in the morning again…

A chill suddenly crawled up my back. I froze in place and glanced towards the door.

His uncle's!

Are you here to find Alicia Miller again?
