"What did you say!" Before the man finished speaking, Liz said coldly.
"Leave now."
The man had no choice but to leave in despair, giving Fiskr a vicious look before leaving.
After he left, Liz looked at Fiskr Stone coldly and asked, "How did he get exposed? I specially prepared a set of the most expensive clothes for him, as well as that watch. You shouldn't be able to tell. "
The man was Vuk Strong, and he was Liz's employee. In order to make her look more like him, Liz spent tens of thousands of dollars on his outfit. The purpose she did that was to tell Fiskr Stone that she had a boyfriend, and make him regret the marriage, but she didn't expect that he would see through the plan before it even started.
Fiskr explained, "No matter how expensive the clothes are, they can't hide the vulgarity in some people."
Seeing Liz's disbelieving look, Fiskr Stone said, "Well, it's because of his socks."
"Socks!" Liz finally understood. She touched her forehead with her hand with a look of regret.
"You bought him a boss's suit and a peacock feather watch. The total cost of this outfit is close to 1,000 dollars. Yet, under those gorgeous clothes, his socks cost about 3 dollars. Is this possible?"
Fiskr Stone smiled and said. As the king of special forces, his eyes were not so easy to fool.
"You're right, I made a mistake," Liz bit her pink lip and said. She then looked at him with burning eyes and asked, "But you just said that for only 2,000 dollars, you would be willing to regret your marriage to me?"
"If he can afford it, of course, I will agree, but he can't." Seeing the disappointment in Liz's eyes, Fiskr Stone said, "But it's not impossible if you really want me to regret the marriage, as long as I need you to agree to a condition."
"What condition?" Liz's eyes burned with hope again.
"As long as you can let me enter Vermillion Girls High School and let me stay there for a hundred days, I will promise you to regret the marriage." After Fiskr finished speaking, Liz's face was full of disbelief.
"Is it that simple?"
Liz's delicate face was full of surprise, and then her eyes flashed. As a businesswoman, she immediately thought of an idea that was extremely beneficial to her.
"Wait! Fiskr Stone," Liz continued with cunning eyes flashing, "I can let you enter Vermillion Girls High School as a student and solve all your troubles there, but you must sign an agreement with me. The agreement is that you have to pretend to be my boyfriend, and I will work out the specific terms when I go back."
"It's just pretending."
Fiskr eyes flashed. Why didn't she break off the engagement? After thinking about it, he understood what Liz meant. Even if he broke off the engagement this time, there was no guarantee that Liz's father would not introduce another boyfriend to her. Liz was unwilling to marry someone who has no feelings for her, and the next person Liz's father introduced may be even worse than Fiskr Stone. So Liz decided to sign a contract with him, to get over the immediate problems first before she deal with her father.
Fiskr nodded. She was indeed a strong business woman with a shrewd mind.
Fiskr Stone thought for a moment. If he just broke off the engagement like this, his mother would be so angry that she would come to Rivera and slap him twice. Her status was too noble, and when she came to Rivera, she would definitely cause trouble in the city. When the time comes, it would affect him to not keep a low profile, and it might ruin his mission in Rivera, so it was better to agree with Liz and save trouble.
To each his own!
Fiskr Stone agreed decisively, "Okay! That's settled."
Fiskr Stone could clearly feel that Liz breathed a sigh of relief, before she acted cold and said, "That's it. Give me your whatsapp number, and I'll contact you when the time comes."
"Whatsapp? What is a Whatsapp?"
Seeing Fiskr Stone's confused look, Liz was obviously stunned. Oh my God, there were still people who didn't know what Whatsapp was these days.
"It's just a chat software downloaded on your mobile phone!"
"Oh," Fiskr Stone raised the old Nokia in his hand and said, "I can't download it on my phone." Being abroad all year round, and also restricted by military secrets, he didn't know anything about these.
"Fine," Liz bit her pink lips lightly, then threw out a bank card and said, "The password is six zeros. There are 100,000 dollars in it. You can use it to buy the latest mobile phone and more expensive clothes first, in order to attend certain occasions with me."
"As for the contract, I will send you a message when the time comes."
Fiskr Stone put away his bank card without being pretentious. After all, he didn't have much instant noodles at home...
He then saw Liz stretching her white and tender neck, and took out a sapphire necklace. Placing it in her hand, her eyes were full of tenderness.
After thinking for a long time, Liz forcefully handed the necklace to Fiskr.
"This is the relic left to me by my mother before she died. The Star of the Sea Rhythm is my most precious thing. You must protect it! Otherwise I will kill you!"
Liz said extremely seriously.
Fiskr was stunned for a moment, before he recalled that the two of them needed to exchange love tokens.
Fiskr Stone carefully kept the necklace. After thinking about it, he took out a small cloth bag from the closest part of his chest and opened it layer by layer. An old but shiny red five-pointed star badge appeared in front of Liz's eyes.
This was the military glory on Fiskr's first military uniform when he joined the army, and it also accompanied him through the craziest five years. Due to a confidentiality agreement, it was the only thing he took away from the camp. It was also the only thing that recorded his identity as the King of Special Forces, and was indeed precious to Fiskr Stone.
Fiskr Stone looked at the badge. His eyes full of those turbulent years. It took a full half hour before Fiskr Stone closed his eyes, gritted his teeth and handed the five-pointed star badge to Liz.
"Take it away quickly!"
Fiskr Stone said, but they were heavier than all Liz's previous words.
Liz nodded solemnly and carefully wrapped it back into the strip of cloth, before putting it in the bag.
"When I convince my dad, I will return it to you."
"Yeah!" Fiskr Stone stabilized his emotions, regained his iceberg-like face, and said, "Then let's get in touch again."
After saying goodbye to Liz, Fiskr left directly.
After the man left, the waiter came over with a cup of coffee and said apologetically, "I'm sorry. Today's is quite busy, here's your Sumatra civet coffee."
"Hey, you and your boyfriend have the same taste." The waiter handed the coffee to Liz, then pointed at the coffee on Fiskr seat and covered his mouth with a smile.
"Oh," Liz's face suddenly turned red, and she actually ordered the same cup of coffee as Fiskr. Although this coffee was not the most expensive, it was the most authentic in this store, and it was also the only coffee that Liz had been drinking coffee abroad for many years.
“What a great taste!”
Liz's eyes flickered. Maybe this was just a coincidence.
