Stan Sowden quickly walked out of the woods, and the Mercedes-Benz behind him had stopped on the muddy roadside.

This place is already a remote suburb, far away from the city center. The roads are muddy, the mountains are barren, and there are no street lights.

It was late afternoon and the light was dim. Only a few farms can be vaguely seen in the distance. There are no street lights here, let alone surveillance cameras.
