As a police officer, going through wind and rain was just a part of the job. So, Jing Bai, whose originally fair face was now a bit tanned, didn't mind it much! Actually, it couldn't be called dark; it was more of a healthy tan.

She had gained a bit of a tough and heroic demeanor, but she was still lacking the unique charm that only women possessed. Jing Bai's mother often complained in her ear, saying, "Other people's daughters have fair and delicate skin. How did our daughter become so dark? I wonder why we chose this name for you back then!"

So, Jing Bai was particularly sensitive about anyone commenting on her complexion. However, the guy in front of her just had to bring it up.

With Jing Bai on top and Fei Shen on the bottom, Jing Bai threw a punch directly at Fei Shen's face, but he deftly dodged it by tilting his head, then grabbed Jing Bai's hand.

Following his principle of not missing an opportunity, Fei Shen's legs wrapped around Jing Bai's slender waist. Her waist was slim but strong. Judging by the force coming from her legs, Fei Shen thought that with this woman's core strength, they could unlock many positions!

Then, Fei Shen felt something warm lingering on his lips!

Taking advantage of the situation, Fei Shen extended his tongue. Just at that moment, the door to the interrogation room was suddenly pushed open, and it was the same police officer who had escorted the chubby guy out of the police station earlier, making a return.

"I didn't see anything; you guys can continue!" The officer muttered and then turned to leave.

"This Officer Bai is quite bold!" The officer thought to himself.

Jing Bai covered her lips and glared fiercely at Fei Shen. "Let go of me!"

"If I let you go, are you sure you won't pull out a gun and shoot me?" Fei Shen blinked and asked.

"Wh-what? Let go of me!" Jing Bai exclaimed angrily.

Fei Shen blinked and couldn't believe his eyes—this tough woman was actually crying. And not just crying, but she had tears in her eyes like a weeping willow.

Fei Shen's heart softened, thinking about how he had bullied her just a moment ago. He couldn't help but release his legs, shrugged his shoulders, and sat up.

With her head lowered, Jing Bai suddenly wore a cold smile. With a punch, she struck Fei Shen, who had just sat up, causing him to fall backward.

"Get in here!" Jing Bai stood up and shouted outside the door.

The officer who had left earlier pushed the door open, wearing a wry smile. He looked at Fei Shen, who was covering his nose and wiping away blood, with a hint of sympathy in his eyes.

"I didn't see anything about what just happened," Jing Bai began, but the officer quickly interrupted her, "I didn't see anything either!"

In reality, Fei Shen wanted to commend the officer for his quick thinking, because it seemed like there was no coming back from this situation.

But when he saw Jing Bai's cold gaze, Fei Shen tilted his head back, covered his nose, and pretended not to look at anything.

"Keep an eye on this scoundrel. If he makes any move, shoot him!" Jing Bai coldly issued a final command.

"What? Isn't that going too far?" The officer exclaimed in surprise. There must be a deep-seated grudge for her to resort to shooting. However, when he saw Jing Bai's gaze, the officer quickly covered his mouth and approached Fei Shen with a stern expression.

Fei Shen looked at the guy next to him and couldn't help but hold back a chuckle. Where did they find this guy? There was no doubt that he was in for some trouble in the future, working under that violent woman.

After Jing Bai left, the two men locked eyes and exchanged sympathetic glances.

Translation: "Buddy, can I use your phone? Otherwise, someone might really die!" Fei Shen said in a low voice.

"No need to be polite; you're not a stranger!" the officer grinned.

"Don't get the wrong idea!" Fei Shen forced a smile. He didn't mind, but he felt uneasy about involving someone else's daughter in this mess.

"What's to misunderstand? You two are already in this together!" the officer waved it off dismissively.

Fei Shen rolled his eyes at the officer's comment. This guy was hard to reason with.

"Man, we're all hoping someone can bail out this troublemaker. It's a tough road ahead, my friend," the officer patted Fei Shen's shoulder with sympathy.

Hearing this, Fei Shen realized that this woman's violent reputation was well-known.

Fei Shen took out his phone and quickly dialed a number. "I'm at the police station right now."

"Is someone dead?" a panicked voice came from the other end.

"No!" Fei Shen rolled his eyes in frustration. "No one's dead. I just need some help with a legal matter. By the way, I had a fight with a fat guy today. He threatened to sue me into bankruptcy and have me locked up. He almost ran over my precious daughter. He's pretty arrogant. He's clearly not planning to let me off. Although she found this guy annoying, as a law enforcer, she stood on the basis of fairness.

Fei Shen couldn't help but sigh, feeling fortunate to have met such a woman.

Looking at Lianqing Su, Fei Shen finally compromised. Of course, it was mostly Lianqing Su's decision, and Fei Shen was just adding the final touches.

"The other party is already prepared to sue, and I will do my best to convince them to settle privately. However, if they don't agree within 24 hours, there's nothing more I can do. If you have any connections, you might want to use them," Jing Bai said calmly.

Fei Shen seemed to realize his own emotions and said, "Actually, you didn't have to come. I'll be out soon, and if I don't want an exit strategy, there's no need for such a big fuss over an unrelated person. The little one is very cute and still so young. It would be regrettable if something happened to him. As for that fat guy, he really deserved a beating!"

"Actually, we're colleagues from the same company! I work as a bodyguard under Mr. Yao," Fei Shen said with a smile.

"Oh, I didn't know your name?" Lianqing Su asked.

"I'm Fei Shen. And you?" Fei Shen asked knowingly, although he felt the urge to tell the truth, every time the words were about to come out, he found it difficult to speak.

"It's an honor to be remembered by a beautiful officer like Officer Bai!" Fei Shen replied with a light smile, appearing completely relaxed.
