"What are your thoughts?" Samuel grinned mischievously, finally instilling fear in Matthew.

Having been relentlessly pursued by Matthew, Samuel had leaped into the Nu River, a near-fatal encounter, were it not for the intervention of the sixth master who saved him. Without a doubt, Samuel owed much of his current position to this act.

"Tell me, who ordered you to hunt me down?" Samuel regarded Matthew with an indifferent gaze, determined to unearth the murderer. He knew the intruders in the Ye family were not connected to the Zhao clan. These were warriors, those who surpassed the celestial level.

"I... I don't know." A flicker of panic darted through Matthew's eyes.

He knew, he must know. But Matthew dared not speak.

Samuel's eyes darkened. The Zhao family had stood as a noble lineage in Jiangnan for centuries. If even Matthew dared not speak, it hinted at a powerful force behind them.

"If you won't talk, then meet your end." Samuel dismissed the further conversation. He was back, and he would find the perpetrator of the murder.

Abruptly, an elderly man halted Samuel.

"What's the matter?"

Samuel turned to find an old man in traditional attire before him.

"I am Leo Tang, head of the Jiangnan Tang family, representing the Gangnam King. If you think you can freely take lives in such a gathering, Do you hold the Gangnam King in contempt?" Leo spoke icily.

"And what of the Gangnam King? Even if he were here in person, if I wish to take a life, Is it his turn to intervene?" Samuel's tone was tinged with amusement.

In strides a man in military uniform, a swift and purposeful gait.

Matthew's face lit up at the sight, his fear dissipating.

"Why is he here?" The wealthy and influential present were all flabbergasted.

The Gangnam King commanded a hundred thousand Royal Guards, with over three thousand in military service, led by thirty commanders. Alex was one of them. He wielded immense power and influence.

In all of Jiangnan City, none dared to cross him. Matthew and Alex were sworn brothers.

"Brother, rest assured. I'll handle this matter." Alex strode forward, exuding the air of a military commander. The 3000 Black Tiger Armies charged into the lobby, their menacing presence causing everyone to pale.

"Brother Samuel!"

Carrie was in a frenzy, gripping her mother's hand tightly.

Jayden's heart raced. Matters had spiraled beyond control.

"Will the Gangnam King intervene in this matter?" Samuel's voice was cold as he locked eyes with Alex.

"If that's the case, then you dignitaries will be buried with my parents and eldest brother today!"

"Cease this nonsense, someone, seize him!"

Alex's gaze turned frigid. So long as he wasn't a master-level warrior, the 3000 Black Tiger Armies could subdue him at will.

Crash! The Black Tiger Armies were a well-oiled machine, instantly forming an attack formation in the lobby. Countless tables and guests were sent flying, transforming the lobby into a battleground.

Alex sat firmly, bearing the banner of command, directing the 3000 Black Tiger Armies in battle.

"Brother Samuel, run!" Carrie's voice rang out, devoid of any concern for the consequences.
