Chapter 2 The Pretty Policewoman

“I’ll see your father off.”

Philip felt Susan was capricious. In case that he became the vent to her anger, he quickly slipped out.

Philip and Helga came to the yard of the villa.

“I can’t say much in front of Susan.”

Helga was smoking beside his car. “We’re both men. I know that wildflower smells better than the flower at home, but you’re indeed married. How can it be called ‘family’ if you don’t live together?”

Philip was shocked. Wildflower smells better than the flower at home. It didn’t seem to be the words that a father in law should say to his son in law.

For a while, Philip didn’t know how to answer Helga.

Philip’s silence had become the acquiescence in Helga’s eyes.

Helga snorted coldly, raised his hand, and patted Philip on the shoulder. “For the sake of your dead parents, I won’t fuss about the past. From today on, you need to live at home.”

Speaking of the dead parents, Philip couldn’t say anything else but only nodded.

The beauty in front of him was of short hair to her ears, slender waist, and the most amazingly, two white, beautiful, and dazzling long legs. She wore black leather shorts, and most of her pretty legs were exposed outside, making Philip feel dry.

This was a valiant and a little wild woman. Somehow, Philip began to drool at first sight of this woman.

He didn’t know that this woman was Pearl Chen, the leader of Puny District Criminal Police Detachment of Golden City and the most famous beautiful, hardhearted policewoman. And he didn’t know that Pearl had misunderstood him for Old Wang’s injury.

“It was in public. How dare you to hurt the old man? Stop your atrocity at once. Hold your head in both hands and squat on the ground.” Pearl rushed to Philip.

Philip was shocked and then sneered. “Beauty, you are so funny. You insult me. Even you don’t know what happened. People say that brainless women all have great breasts, but your breasts are not so big.”

“What do you say?”

Pearl, who was walking towards Philip, suddenly stopped. Her eyes opened wide and were full of shocks. She couldn’t understand Philip’s behavior.
