Chapter 10 A Failure to Recognize the Real Hero

Dinah Chen had no other option but to call Victor Chu, but she had full respect for Victor’s decision, and if Victor didn’t want to go, she would not force him, because her sister had so much prejudice against him and it would be so awkward if Carl Guo and Victor were to dine together.

Surprisingly, Victor agreed without any hesitation.

Soon some good friends of Daisy’s also walked in the room and Daisy introduced: “Jane Wu and Mei Liu. You can get to know each other and we will come out in the future. If you find anyone attractive, you can ask for her wechat and ask her out. My sisters are all single.” Daisy winked.

“Who else is coming? Daisy, Who else did you invite? Why are there two extra seats?” Jane Wu looked at the lower seats.

“Your fiance?” Jane was shocked.

Everyone knew Daisy hated Victor’s guts and they didn’t understand why she invite him over.

“Now Carl is my boyfriend. He professed his love for me and I love him back.” Daisy explained hurriedly.

“I see......You should have got rid of him earlier. He is such a shame.” Jane said.

“Sh....” Mei Liu positioned her finger in front of her lips, and winked at them.
Everyone one looked at the door, and found Victor and Dinah standing there.

“So everyone is here. Then take your seats, and after the dinner, someone needs to know what he is supposed to do. I don’t want to mention his name.” Daisy said in a funny voice.

Victor was expressionless, and naturally he was seated st the lower seats with Dinah.

“Victor, normally you are so poor that you find some takeout expensive. Today I invite you to the Seven Flavor Restaurant, and this is also the end of our relationship. A few days ago you were quite tough and you showed us your attitude, which also put an early end to our engagement. “Victor, get up! Give your seat to my brother Jun Wang！” Carl looked around and then shouted at Victor, who was eating his dinner.

“Victor, you should be full now. Give your seat to Jun Wang. If you are not full, you can eat beside. I’ll ask the waitress to get you a chair.” Daisy said.

They wanted Victor to eat standing or sitting out of the table. Normally people will ask the next generations to eat like this but it is a huge disrespect if a peer is asked to eat in this way. Victor’s face darkened.
