Chapter 7 What's going on now?

“Please!”

Qiang Zhang spoke again, danger showed in his eyes.

“Tongue is dry.”

Andy Ye snorted and stood up, and picked up Qiang Zhang’s collar, with a wave of his hand, he flew away like a plastic, out through the doorway.

Bang.

There was a thud coming from the outside door.

The living room was quiet.

Qiang Zhang’s two companions, facing Andy’s gaze, swallowed hard and retreated bit by bit.

But they didn’t escape in the end and were thrown out by Andy one by one.

Beatrice Chu was dumbfounded and looked at Andy. She swallowed hard for several times.

She was frightened.

Qingcheng International Company was located at the High-tech Park in Xicheng District of Haidong City. When Nancy arrived, the building where the company located was full of people.

Several police cars surrounded the entrance and the exit of the building and there were police officers setting the cordon. There were not many people watching, but many of them were shooting video. Nancy even heard someone revealing to the media.

“Miss. Chu, thank God. You’re here.”

As soon as she got off the car, she was stopped by a woman with great panic.

“Rou, what’s the situation now?” Nancy asked calmly.

Nancy’s calmness made the woman settle down a little and she quickly told her the current situation.

After hearing it, Nancy frowned.

Someone had died.

Before the ambulance arrived, Mr. Wang, who was working in the lab was already lifeless. The entire company was cordoned off by the police and it was unknown how much information about the Beauty Protector could be left in the lab. Now the police wouldn’t allow anyone to get in.

“Miss. Chu, what do we do now?” After telling her the situation, the woman asked.

“Is there any need to be worried?” Nancy snapped and said, “You immediately give them my instructions. Part of them go to research and the rest take paid leave. We have to trust our police and they will soon solve the case.”

The woman was stunned at the words.

“Go! Give the news to the middle and senior management of the company. They know what to do.” Nancy paused and continued, “Don’t spread the news of the Beauty Protector yet. I will give them an explanation when I know the whole situation.”

The woman hesitantly said, “But we don’t have any money on our books right now.”

No matter sending people to the distributors to research, or taking paid vacations, both needed a large amount of money to support. The company could never make themselves pay for it, but the company’s money had already all been invested in the development of Beauty Protector. Though there was still some liquidity, but it had already been put to good use.

“The company has money.” Nancy smiled towards the woman, “Call Manager Chen. The 150 million taken back today can be used by 10 million.”

150 million? The woman was shocked, for she was the only one who knew the situation of the company. 150 million sounded impossible.

Now the company, from top to bottom, gave the greatest attention to Beauty Protector, whose research data had been robbed. Once tomorrow the news was spread, Qingcheng was bound to be found for trouble by other competitors, maybe it would break down.

“Alright.” Nancy waved her hand, “Hurry up. There must be money on the books. Do you really think that I don’t know your tricks?”

The woman flushed and said, “I’ll leave first.” Then she left quickly.

Looking at the way she left, Nancy relieved. Fortunately, Andy got the money back, otherwise, the company would mess up itself before competitors’ actions.

Though people had feelings for each other, Nancy knew she didn’t have the charm to make people follow her no matter what happened.
