Chapter 4

Everyone turned back to look.

It was a handsome man in a black wind coat and black army boots, walking into the hall!

He was clean-cut, with cool temperament surrounding him, and unswerving fortitude in his eyes!

His masculine charm made him much more attractive than those handsome actors!

Finally, tears in Ines's eyes could no longer be stopped.

Finally, Carl Chen returned, who she had been missing every night since he disappeared.

As the sound of Carl’s footsteps spread around the hall, someone finally recognized him. “He...he is the adopted son in Chen’s family!”

“He survived!”

“Selfish bastard! He ran away that night and ignored his father and brother, who raised him up!”

Carl didn’t care a little about these comments.

The only purpose he came here today was to take away his sister, Ines.

Looking at Carl, Ines couldn’t restrain her feelings. She hitched up her dress and wanted to run to Carl.

But how could Shen’s young master, Ines’s future husband, Aaron Shen, let her go?

Aaron grabbed her wrist and rebuked. “Ines! Do you really think this bastard can take you away? No one, even the god, can stop our marriage!”

Carl stepped on the stage and walked to the two. As he saw Aaron grasp Ines’s wrist, he shouted. “Put away your dog’s paws!”

Aaron was enraged. “Bastard! You ran so fast five years ago, ah? You should have been buried with your damn father and damn brother! How dare you come back now?”

“He’s not a bastard! He’s my bother!”

Ines shouted, facing Aaron’s bloody eyes without fears!

Carl stared at Aaron and said in a deep cold voice. “I said, put your dog’s paws away!”

Aaron was irritated and barked. “F**k off if you don’t want to die! I can let you go for the sake of you being my brother-in-law. You should be grateful, or I’ll kill you whoever you are!”

“You deserve it.”

Carl said and then suddenly grabbed Aaron’s wrist as fast as a flash of thunder!

Then Carl strengthened his might and broke Aaron’s hand, which was grasping Ines’s wrist!

The horrible bone revealed from Aaron’s skin, with the blood and sinews surrounding around.

“Ah! My hand!”

Aaron held the broken hand with the other hand, wincing and screaming. “Bastard! How dare you break my hand? Guards! Kill him now!”

“No!” Ines rushed to Carl. She firmly stood in front of Carl, reaching out her slender arms and used her delicate body to protect Carl! “Don’t hurt my brother!”

Carl held Ines’s soft hand to comfort her. “Don’t worry. No one in this world can hurt me!”

Aaron gritted his teeth. “Bastard! You’re too arrogant! You have to endure the same pain after I break your legs and hands later, and behold our wedding like a dead dog!”

Then he shouted to several young men in black suits in the corner. “Break this bastard’s legs and hands!”

Just as he finished his order, four men in suits rushed to Carl!

They were Shen’s mighty and skilled bodyguards, who used to be special forces and were army comrades before, with great tacit understanding to each other!

But they were not qualified to join Carl’s Dragon Blood Special Forces.

Anyone in Dragon Blood could defeat the four in just a few minutes, so did Carl!

Three of them rushed to Carl from three directions, while the last one intended to speed around to Carl’s back.

But just as they were about to surround Carl, Carl moved!

Carl slammed to the one who was punching to Carl’s face, fast and mightily.

The man felt he was being hit by a speeding train. His arm was broken, and his internal organs also felt painful.

Then Carl flashed to grab another two’s arms, then screwed them, and beat them down on the ground.

Carl defeated three men just with two moves!

The last one intended to punch Carl’s back head, but as he saw his fellows be knocked down, he was terrified.

But he had to launch his move because he was the only hope to defeat Carl now!

Suddenly, Carl turned back and kicked on the man’s chest.

The kick instantly broke the man’s ribs and sent him flying away for almost twenty meters!

The blood burst out from the man’s mouth, finally making the onlookers horrified.

Out of everyone’s expectation, the adopted son in Chen’s family was so skilled!

Aaron’s four aces just blocked Carl’s three moves!

Carl slowly walked to Aaron in the onlookers’ horrible and shocked eyes.

The more steps he took, the more imposing he looked like.

Aaron’s body was shaking, and the cold sweat came out from his forehead.

“Carl Chen! Think carefully! You’re not the young master in the top rich family anymore!”

Carl’s eyes were as sharp as the sword. He shouted. “You have no need to care about my power because now you’re just the pig waiting for butchering!”

Aaron was terrified by Carl’s eyes. He subconsciously stepped back.

He didn’t doubt Carl’s word, because since his four aces were still no match for Carl, Carl had the power to kill him at his wills now.

Aaron begged with a trembling voice. “Carl. It was a misunderstanding. I’m going to marry Ines, so we’re relatives in the future. Don’t be so ruthless, please.”

Carl sneered. “You call the murder as a misunderstanding? Your family united the other three to ruin my family, so how can we be relatives?”

Then he pointed at Aaron’s broken wrist. “I just come here today to get back some interest, so I won’t ask for the real debt today. I’m going to ruin the Four Families gradually and slowly!”

To ruin the Four Families?

There were silence in the hall because of Carl’s shocking words, and the members of the Four Families were irritated.

But no one dare stand out because they were all afraid of Carl’s horrible skills.

Carl looked around and snorted with disdain. He walked to Ines and softly held her hand.

The merciless master, Carl, who had killed numerous enemies, now became gentle and soft.

Carl held Ines, who was crying so severely, in his arms and said. “Let’s go, my dear sister. No one can stop us!”

The complicated feelings broke into Ines's heart as she looked at Carl, the familiar but strange man in her eyes.

She rushed in Carl's arms, and wanted to tell him her missing and grievance, but couldn't say anything out.

Carl patted Ines's back and said in a soft voice, regardless of those onlookers' eyes. "Let's go home."

Ines nodded and followed this man who she had been relying on all those years since they were children.

No one in the hall dared to stop them.

The black Hummer Car stopped at the gate.

Ines said to Carl with worry. "Carl. You offended the Four Families just now. I'm worried..."

Then her eyes were filled with tears. "Dad and brother have died for five years, and I have been looking for you for five years, too. I don't want to lose you again."

Carl smiled. "They are just like ants in my eyes, so don't worry about that."

"But..."

Just as Ines intended to persuade, someone was coming.

It was Katie walking from the darkness, and then she bowed to Carl. "Lord. What's your order?"

Lord!

Ines was shocked with an open mouth!

Why did this woman call her brother Lord?

She heard about the mysterious Mainstay of the Country and the Lord of the North before. Should it be her brother?

And who was this beautiful woman?

Carl finally opened his mouth. "Katie. Send Ines to my villa in YD Hill, and order your subordinates in Bloody Rose to protect her. Don't let me worry!"

Bloody Rose was a special force belonging to Dragon Blood, in which there were all skilled female soldiers, no inferior to the male.

Katie was just the leader of that secret special force.

Katie nodded. "Yes, Lord."

Ines was puzzled. "Don't you go with me? Where are you going?"

Carl sighed. A pretty figure came in his mind. "Carrie is my lawful wife. She has been waiting for me for five years, so I have to compensate her."

Carrie had to agree. "Carrie must have suffered a lot these years. Go and find her. Don’t let her down again."

Carl then said to Katie. "Protect my sister well, please."

Katie secretly clenched her fists there.

She had been staying with Carl for five years, but Carl still remembered that woman.

Katie had to restrain her feelings. "I'll protect Miss Chen well. Don't worry."

Carl stopped a taxi and went to Su’s villa.

Just as he walked into the house, he saw Lilian rush over with an angry face.

“Carl Chen! Why do you come back again? I warn you! I will never let you live with my daughter. She will divorce tomorrow. My daughter is the greatest, so she deserves the greatest man! The young rich guys who love my daughter in this city can even form a line from here to the Paris! The total amount of their money can surround the earth for three times! What are you? Huh? You’re just a poor solider who finds hard to make a living in army so comes back to beg my daughter to support you!”

“Mom!” Carrie hurriedly rushed out of her room. “Mom! He’s my lawful husband! We have the marriage certificate and romantic wedding! What the nonsense are you talking?”

As Carl heard “husband”, he felt his heart warm.

He left at his wedding, and had disappeared for five years, leaving no information for her, but she was still willing to take him as her husband.

Carl didn’t care about Lilian’s curse, because it was him who did wrong first, but Carrie’s protection was out of his expectation.

‘This woman was beautiful, kind, and she kept her words well. Since she regarded me as her husband, I definitely should regard her as my wife!’ Carl made up his mind secretly. He swore that he would never let her down again.

Lilian snorted. “Husband? He will not be your husband after divorce. Since so many rich guys chase after you, are you really willing to live with this useless wimp for your whole life?”

Just at this moment, a young man in suit came in with four bodyguards. He shouted loudly. “Is anyone there?”

Lilian recognized that young man immediately. He was the second young son of the top rich family in JL City, Wade Shen from Shen’s family.

How did Wade come here? Did he also love Carrie?

Just as Lilian said that there were a lot of rich guys who loved Carrie, there was just a great rich guy. Lilian was surprised. She hurriedly strode to Wade and smiled. “Mr. Shen! Welcome! Please come in!”
