Chapter 5

"Jungkook..."





The young boy looks up at Jimin, and smiles.

"Hyung! This is?..."

Jimin looks down at you, then slapped his forehead. "Ah....right..."

Confused, you just greet Jungkook, bowing in respect.

"Hello. My name is Kim Sohye...I'm 19."

Jungkook nods. "We're the same age."

Jimin cuts the both of you off, pulling you protectively closer to him.

"Hyung...is this your..." Jimin pulls Jungkook in, closing the door.

Jungkook and you exchange glances as he urges you two to walk back into the living room. He sighs.


"This is Jeon Jungkook. He's my younger step brother....and he's going to live here for around a month until he finds an apartment near the university he is attending."

Jimin finishes introducing Jungkook and turns to him. "She's the roommate I was talking about."


With that, Jungkook seems dumbfounded. "You said it was a guy."

"I...i didn't know auntie meant a girl."

Jungkook scratches his head. He seems to acknowledge it, but he can't imagine living together with a female.

You pat his shoulder. "It's fine...i won't disturb the two of you at all!...at least, i'll try my best to..."


Jungkook smiles at you. The both of you exchange eye contact, but Jimin interrupts when he forcefully nudges Jungkook. "Lets go set up your stuff."

Jungkook obediently complies and starts to unpack his blue luggage. You help by taking his toiletries to the washroom. You suddenly hear Jungkook's whine.

"Ahhh Hyungggg....what's this?" curious, you peek your head out to see Jimin laying a spare sleeping bag on the floor.

"You said I could share the bed with your roommate while you sleep somewhere else."

Jimin turns to him.
"Idiot, who said you were sleeping here? This is my bed, and you'll sleep there." he points at the sofa.

"What about Sohye?"

"She sleeps on the bed of course!"

Jungkook turns back to look at you. "Ah..right." he says as he recalls that you're a girl.


You ran towards them.


"...I'm not that weak. Also, there's no way that sofa will fit him, and I'm not allowing you to sleep on the cold floor!" you exclaimed at Jimin.


Jimin was about to protest when Jungkook suddenly suggests something questionable.
"How about we all sleep together on the bed? It seems pretty big...."

Your imagination takes you away. Sharing a bed with a guy you like and another handsome boy.....sounds not too bad. In fact, it sounds like heaven.


"If we're doing that, then I will sleep in the centre." Jimin insists. "There's absolutely no way you guys are sleeping beside each other." he sulks.


Just like that, Jimin continuously gives you hope, and you're not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Jungkook seems to catch on. "Hyung...you.."



Jimin suddenly stands up, catching the attention of the both of you.


"Right....since we're free, go to the gym for a while with Hyung, Jungkook."


"Now?.." Jungkook frowns. Jimin nods in response. "Now."

Jungkook turns to you. "Is Sohye gonna come with us?" Jimin looks at you, awaiting an answer.

"Uhm..." you want to go along with them, but you're not too confident of your stamina. "I'll pass! I wanna finish the laundry."


Jimin gently carresses your hair. "Alright, I'll bring back icecream as thanks." he smiles.

Jungkook and Jimin leaves for the door, and you start work on the laundry.

It wasn't much since you and Jimin were just here. Throwing all the clothes in the washing machine, you cant help but to catch a glimpse of ......his....boxers......

It was a generic gray. You avert your eyes and started focusing on the machine.

When you got it to work, you started washing your undergarments by hand.

After that, exhaustion takes over you and you leave them to dry in the washroom, thinking that you'll keep them after a quick nap.


Soon, you're fast asleep on the bed.

Jimin leads his brother to the car. He gets in, followed by Jungkook.

"Ah....damn. I forgot the towels.." Jimin rubs the back of his neck.

"I'll go get them, Hyung." Jungkook unlocks the side door.

Jimin stops him.

"No, it's fine. I know where they are, just stay in the car and wait for hyung to come back." Jungkook nods silently.

Jimin enters the apartment in a hurry, and made a beeline towards the bathroom. He opens the door.

"Ah..."

A bright red flush occupies his cheeks. He tries to avert his eyes and focus on scanning the place for towels.

The stacked towels are on top of the rack where the undergarments were drying. Jimin couldn't help but stare at them, lost in thought.

There's so little fabric and so much lace, does it actually cover anything??

His mind wanders off into wild imagination, before inching to a dangerous place where he imagines you in them.

He shakes it off abruptly. Jimin washes his face in the sink, and pulls back his wet hair, slapping himself with cold water.

He takes two towels , and exits the bathroom.

It was then when he notices that the bedroom door was closed. Jimin opens it quietly, and sees you fast asleep.

With a smirk, he walks closer to the bed.

He then admires the scene of you asleep, and stares into your face for a few minutes.



"so vulnerable and small..." he carresses your hair. "You ought to be more careful. I might eat you up anytime."


"But I cherish you, so I'll never do anything you don't like." he whispers, his hand cupping your cheek.




Following that, he covers your exposed toes with the blanket, and gently presses his rosy lips on yours, before leaving the apartment.



That moment, you were dreaming of Jimin and you, in a peaceful valley. You were asleep, and Jimin kisses you while you're in the world of dreams.



You smile in your sleep, oblivious that it actually happened.
