Chapter 6

Even though two grown men are asleep on the same bed with you, you surprisingly dont feel cramped at all.

Maybe it's just you, but you anticipate when your hands almost touch Jimin's , when his face is close to yours, when his body is warm and when he links arms with you in his sleep.

All these little things, you question your relationship with him.

The two of you are close, but what are you to him? The affection you feel from him is much less of a best friend-

But more of like a boyfriend.

However, you dont dare to ask...living in the same household, your fear is rejection.

And when that happens, all these little interactions with him may not continue again.


You are lost in thoughts, but you shake off the uneasy feeling, as you inch closer to Jimin's chest.


You were only awake when you feel Jimin's hands wrapping your body.



"Baby, you're awake?" Jimin smiles sweetly at you.

You blush hard, not knowing how to respond. Suddenly, Jungkook's voice echoed from the living room.

"Hyung! Stop watching Sohye sleep and help me find my tie!"

Jimin groans in annoyance and relunctantly leaves you.

"Where the hell did you place it? How can you lose part of your uniform!!" you can hear Jimin's voice from the living room as well.

You rolled over the bed covering your scarlet face with a blanket. Park Jimin, what are you doing to my heart?...


Your moment gets interrupted when Jungkook rushes into the bedroom.

"Sohye...you're from Hakuk?" your eyes follow his uniform, and a logo that reads: Hakuk University of Foreign Studies.

"No way." you muttered under your breath.

Jungkook laughs. "So we're both freshmen."


You notice that he is holding your uniform.

"That.." you pointed at his hand which was holding it. Jungkook hands it over to you.

"I found it on the dining table, and Jimin hyung said it was your uniform."

You tilt your head. "Jungkook, it's still early. Why are you wearing your uniform already?"

"I just wanted to try it on. By the way, do you want to go to school together? Jimin hyung is driving us." he says cheerfully. You giggle and nod.

"Why not?" you hop off the bed, getting ready for the entrance ceremony in your new school.

Soon, the both of you were in the backseat of Jimin's car.

Jungkook leans towards you, showing you a few pictures he took of the school.

Jimin starts to feel an irritating, uneasy feeling as he watches Jungkook being close with you.

Jungkook took this opportunity to exchange contacts with you as well.

The both of you shared your interests, and chatted heartily until the car reaches the school gate.

You hop off the car, and wave goodbye to Jimin.

But before you turn to walk, Jimin pulls your arm and puts something in your palm, driving away.

Flustered, you look at the thing he gave you. Strawberry milk candy.

You smiled at the sweet on your palm.

Jungkook grabs your hand and gently pulls you, leading you into the school.

He seems to be slightly annoyed, but he was gentle with his touch.

You tried to not think much of it as the both of you gather at the place where the new students reported.






You were all assigned a seat, and you chose to sit beside Jungkook.

He smiles at you, and looks around the school hall, and the new students.

During the principal's address on stage, he leans in and whispers something in your ear.

"Sohye, lets go somewhere fun after school." he smirks at you.

You answered back with a wide grin and a thumbs up.

Somehow, you seem to notice the girls around you staring at Jungkook and whispering.

You try to ignore it, but more and more attention is brought upon Jungkook.

"Look. That guy with the brown hair...so handsome..."

"...is that his girlfriend? Or sister?"

"He's so handsome...i wonder what class he will be assigned to."



Jungkook also seems to be affected by it. You have to do something.

"Honey." you say softly, smiling at him.

Jungkook stares at you with wide eyes, his face turning slightly pink.

There was confusion in his expression. But with that, the girls stopped gossiping about him.

"That handsome guy already has a girlfriend....there goes my chance!" one of them whispers to her friend.

Jungkook notices that the attention drifted away. He pats your head.


"Thank-you." he smiles gently at you.

Jungkook averts your eyes, as he tries to hide his shyness from you.

You dont seem to notice, focusing on the Principal's speech.


Finally, the ceremony was over and a crowd gathered at the board where different students were assigned to various classes, six in total.

You scanned for your name, and you spotted Jungkook's name on Class Two list.

You nudge and point to show him.

He smirks at you, as he points at your name too, that was directly below his.

You and Jungkook are classmates.


Both of you walked slowly through the hallway, guided by teachers standing in place to usher the new students into their classrooms.

It wasn't long before the both of you find Class Two. Seats were decided by lottery paper, and amazingly enough, Jungkook got seat number 28, and yours was 29.

The both of you find your seats, and the girls already began to flock to Jungkook, introducing themselves.

You began to feel lonely until a deep voice from the side catches your attention.


You turn to look at the person calling you.

It was a really handsome boy, maybe even comparable to Jungkook.

He had large eyes and his features were similar to a drawing. He looked like a character straight out of a comic. He smiles widely, greeting himself.


"My name is Kim Taehyung, nice to meet you!" he laughs, his mouth forming into a cute rectangle.

Wow, all the eyecandy you're getting.

He was charming, but he had a different charm from Jungkook.


You smiled back. "Nice to meet you Taehyung. My name is Kim Sohye." you answer in polite speech.

He frowns.

"Aish, just use informal speech! Ah, you can call me Taehyung as well. "
a wide smile plastered on his face.

The both of you exchange contacts, and when you recieve back your phone from him, you realise that he typed in his name as : taetae😘🐙

You almost burst out in laughter.

"Yah, what is this thing?" you pointed at the octopus emoji, trying hard not to laugh by covering your mouth.




Taehyung looks at your phone, and points at himself.

"Don't you think it looks like me?" he says as he makes a pouty expression on his face.

Jungkook interrupts the both of you, seemingly irritated by something.

"My name is Jeon Jungkook." he says coldly to Taehyung.

Taehyung introduces himself warmly, and opens his palms to initiate a handshake.

Jungkook hesitates for a while, before he accepts it.


"Sohye ah, lets go eat some icecream after this." he seems to say it so Taehyung hears.

You paused and nod slightly. Taehyung stares at the both of you.

"Wait...are you guys dating?" Taehyung looks over at both of you.

You widened your eyes.

You were about to correct him when Jungkook answers on your behalf.








"Yeah."

He says.










"We're dating."
