I got up early for once in my life, hopping in the shower to get an early start. My bruises, having time to heal, were still there but they were fading.

Where was Dain?

I'm not complaining, but I was curious... .wary. Was he planning something? I don't think he would just up and ignore me not after I've been trying to make him do that for years.
