Chapter 9 Michelle's purpose.

Franklin Ye didn't say anything back to Michelle Lu, and he just stared at Alex Lu.

Alex instantly understood what it meant and snuggled into Franklin's arms, "Yo, Michelle, I didn’t expect to see you at such an hour. That’s odd, I remember you usually wake up late at home."

"Alex Lu, get your filthy body away from Franklin!" The muscles in Michelle's face twitched.

"Huh? Why would I want to do that?” Alex gave a bleak smile. Not only did she not come out of Franklin's arms, but her hand seemed to hug him even more unscrupulously, "Franklin loves when we cuddle. What, you want to hug him too? Well, we’re brothers so that’s okay, but as for you, ha!"

"You motherf...!"

"Franklin, I'm hungry, do you breakfast?" Ignoring Michelle's anger, Alex looked sweetly at Franklin.

"The maids are preparing it." Franklin nodded to Alex and then turned to Michelle again, "Since Miss Lu is here, make yourself at home."

And then, the two of them headed downstairs intimately. Seeing that scene, Michelle was so pissed that her heart thumped violently and it was about to jump out of her throat.

What the fuck! Her fiance was stolen by a man?! Alex Lu must be doing it on purpose!

He had been at odds with her since he was a kid, and now he was shameless, trying to steal her man! That was disgusting!!!!

With red eyes, Michelle ran into the dining room. Seeing the two men sitting together, she moved a stool right between them, "Excuse me, I didn't have breakfast either, Franklin, do you mind if I dine at your place?"

"Of course, not." Franklin nodded indifferently but only one minute later, he stood up, "You guys take your time, I have some things to take care of."

After saying that, he turned around without giving anyone a chance to respond and walked off in the direction of the living room.

As soon as he left, Michelle dropped her chopsticks, "Alex Lu, I'm warning you, stay away from Franklin!"

"Don’t be a fool, it was Grandpa who told me to come and study with Franklin..."

"Well, if it wasn’t that I got engaged with him, why do you think Franklin agreed to teach you? Alex Lu...don't be delusional, I suggest you just pack your things and get the hell back to M City! "

"You are not the one to decide if I’m staying or not, aren’t you?" Alex nonchalantly tore at the bread in his hand.

At her words, Michelle clenched her fist in anger, "Do you think I can't do anything to you??!!"

"Michelle, if you have that time and energy, spend it on how to make the man love you back, okay? Though he probably prefers you leaving him alone." Alex laughed, standing up to leave as well.

Michelle's hands gripped on the edge of the table, and she glared at her back, "... same to you, you fucker, if you have the time to hang around Franklin, why don’t you go back home and visit your mom? I heard...she was in the hospital last night!"

"What?! My mom's in the hospital?!"

"Well, well, what a man! You don’t even know your mom’s in the hospital?" Michelle sneered.

In the next second, Alex had no intention of paying any more attention to her and strode out the door.

At the moment, Franklin was sitting on the couch, reading newspapers, and as soon as he looked up, he saw her rushing out, "Where to?"

"My family, I need to go back home."

Franklin frowned and didn't ask any further questions. He then raised his head to the butler who was standing at the side.

The butler immediately walked forward, "Mr. Lu, this is the key to the garage, if you want to go out, it will be easier to drive."

"Oh...okay." Taking the key, she looked over at Franklin, "Thanks."

Although this fellow was a little weird, he seemed to be quite nice.

She hurriedly left Franklin’s house, and she made a call during the way home, so she soon arrived at the hospital where her mother was.

"Mom!!!" Alex slammed open the door to the hospital room, only to see Floria Wen lying weakly on the bed with ointment plastered in several places of her body.

"Alex...what are you doing here?"

"Mom, what's going on? You were fine yesterday! What happened! Where did you get all those wounds?" Alex looked carefully at the bandages on her mom. They were everywhere, but they didn't seem to be very serious.

"It’s...well, it's nothing serious, it's just that I met some robbers last night, and they accidentally hurt me," Floria said with a smile, her hand patting her daughter gently, trying to comfort her daughter.

Alex sat on the edge of the bed, "Robbers?! Mom, where did you go in the middle of the night? How come there were robbers?!"

"Last night Michelle’s mom was sick, so I was told to go over and take care of her, but who knew I'd run into rubbers on the way there. But, really, it’s okay, the doctor said it was just flesh wounds."

"Fine..." Alex held her mother's hand and nodded, but when she lowered her head, there was hatred flashing through her eyes.

How could it be such a coincidence? Alex just argued with Michelle, and on the same night, her aunt called her mother over so that Floria met the robbers on her way...

It was so obvious...and it was done on purpose to threaten Alex!

Michelle Lu! She did it to threaten Alex to leave Franklin Ye!

Well, if that was her purpose, then Alex would never satisfy her!

"Alex, are okay? Your face’s so pale."

The thought was interrupted, and Alex quickly hid the emotions in her eyes and smiled softly, "Mom, from now on, you don't have to be involved in my uncle's family's affairs, if my aunt is sick, there are plenty of maids who can take care of her."

"No, your grandfather has said that he wanted us to get along with each other... Also, I have all day to spare, it's okay for me to get there and help out."

To get along with each other?

Bullshit! She wanted to get along, but how did Michelle and her parents do? They treat her mother as a fucking servant!

"I’m okay, Alex, you don't have to stay here with me, go back to Mr. Ye’s house, remember, that’s the most important thing to do for you right now."

Biting her lips, Alex nodded, but still, she didn't leave in a hurry. She asked the doctors to confirm her mother’s condition and stayed for the whole morning before heading back...

Having parked the car, Alex walked quickly towards the courtyard. The house was exceptionally quiet in the afternoon, and upon entering the living room, it was quite empty. Only three maids were here, cleaning, but she found no sign of Franklin or Michelle.
