Chapter 62 Out of Breath

I closed my eyes and I felt a tear fall down on my cheek as I embraced myself for what was to come.

But it doesn’t.

I kept my eyes tightly closed, but for what felt like minutes even though it was probably just a few seconds, there was nothing but the sound of cars passing and their horns alongside the road.
