"Charlotte, go answer the door."

"Why do I have to answer it?"

"Because I'm busy!"

"You're closer."

"Charlotte!"

I grudgingly rise from the sofa and pause the Youtube video I was watching on my laptop. As I brush past Mum, I glance over her shoulder at whatever she seemed so concentrated with, on her laptop. Some boring office work that I'm sure she's managed to start at the very last minute. Typical.
