Cali's POV

"Cali, what are you smiling about?" my head snapped to Tokyo's direction.

We are heading to our scheduled recording for a music show.

An innocent smile escaped my lips as I try to gather my composure.

"Nothing, just a meme I saw online," I told her before focusing back on my phone. This time, I tried to remain poker-faced so she won't think that I was acting weird.

However, my insides were feeling the exact opposite.

My head was floating and so are the organs inside my body. They felt like they were wiggling or something if that's even possible.

My Storm, I got him back, and ever since we got back together, my days had been a thousand times happier. It feels like I was back to how we started when all he brings is comfort and contentment towards my heart.

I wasn't an idol then but he is.

And we never cared. We never cared if the reporters see him. He said he isn't that famous for reporters to even bother. And that was two years ago. Now, Dispatch and the whole world monitors even the number of times he blinks, he sighs or furrowed his eyebrows.

We never cared for the world until we were forced to. But that's the past. I don't care if he hurt me or left me. I don't care why he did that as long as he's back. Because I'm desperate.

Storm, his mere existence affects my whole system.

Did you ever felt like you were walking on a cloud nine every time that someone comes into your mind? Like, you can't help but smile. There is always that moment when your world would stop and you can't think straight because you kept thinking about him?

That's how Storm is to me.

I just can't describe the feeling.

And now, I am looking like a fool in front of my members all because he sent me one short message.

My Gi-chi, he got me so whipped.

Gi-chikun: I had a dream, and you were on it. That made my day, my Chi-chu. I love you.

Goddamn it, Storm.

Once again, my mind drifted off to how our story started a few years ago.

*flashback

"Huh?" my brows furrowed when I heard my phone beeping once again. I was about to sleep and my phone had started beeping indicating that there was a message. And that's the third notification.

I was planning on not reading them until tomorrow because I was already exhausted but it must have been important.

Slowly, my hands reached for my phone and checked who it was.

My heart started beating rapidly at the messages before me.

"Chu, did you get home safely?"

"Put some ice on your ankle, that'll ease the pain,"

"At least tell me you're home,"

My body immediately bolted up from my bed, the sleepiness dawning in me earlier now gone.

Instead, my body suddenly felt so alive, my heart growing some feet running around inside my chest.

It's the ghost guy, I'm sure.

"Oh my God, what should I say?" I bit my index finger, panic starting to build up my system.

"Whatever," I whispered to myself before typing a response.

"I'm home?"

I reached for my pillow and buried my face on it while I scream over my stupidity.

"Really Cali?  That's all you've got?" I stupidly asked myself.

Even after exhaustion, my body had suddenly turned alive.

Just then, my phone started ringing startling me once again. My eyes almost went out of my socket the moment I saw who was calling.

"Mom!" I shrieked in shock, the phone slipping out of my hand. Thank God it landed just right on my bed.

My body started shaking. The effect of this on me is not only alarming but weird in a way too.

Why am I frantic over someone I barely knew?

I let out a deep breath and fixed my hair.

"Damn, he won't see your face Cali. It's a call!"

Before I change my mind, I already hit the accept button.

"Hello?"

If phone calls can go 4d or 5d, he'd probably hear the loud beating of my heart.

Why was it racing like this?

"Chu..." my heart skipped a beat at the sound of his voice. Like the last time, he sounded exhausted.

And Chu - was that a regular thing for him? Like a nickname, he'd given to me?

The background noise was too loud.

Was he on a shoot or something?

"Hey..." I can't help but be worried. We've only met twice but both days, all he did was take care of me. "Are you on a shoot? Don't you think you should rest instead of calling me?" I told him my voice low and uncomfortable. To be honest, I am feeling so nervous. It's not like we knew each other for so long.

"Did I wake you up?" he asked and I straightened my body, his voice a little raspy making me think that he hasn't gotten a lot of sleep.

"No!" I exclaimed. Why do I feel like he'll be sad if I said Yes?

And why do I have this feeling that I don't want him sad?

"I was about to, but I am okay. So..." I bit my lower lip. Honestly, I don't really know what I should tell him.

"It's loud from where you are. I'm guessing you're on a shoot right?" I tried to start a conversation though I am pretty sure my voice sounded awkward but he did not respond.

Am I being nosy asking him things like that?

"You don't have to answer, sir!" I exclaimed immediately and I heard him grunt. I bit my lower lip when I realized I called him sir because he is my senior.

"Storm," he stated, and my breath hitch. "I told you it's Storm to you. And yes, I am in a shoot. I wasn't talking because I like hearing your voice. It's relaxing," he stared and words were stuck on my throat, the overwhelming feeling inside my chest is about to explode.

Good Lord. How will I sleep after this?

"Chu...?" he whispered. I wasn't sure if he was calling me or I just misheard him.

"I was wondering," he started and for some reason, I felt like what he was about to say is gonna blow me away.

"Do you wanna go grab a midnight snack with me?"

What?

"You're kidding," I whispered and my eyes widened.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" I can't help but ask.

To be honest, it's not like we have seen each other for so long. I am merely a trainee. I am nothing compared to him.

The sound of him chuckling caught me off my trance.

"My Chu, isn't it obvious?" the way he said My Chu sent shivers down my spine.

"I like you, Cali...." he stated. And as if the first bomb wasn't enough, he decided to go deeper.

"A lot."

"Fuck..." I accidentally muttered, too shock about what he said. It was too late though when I realized what I just said.

"Believe me, I would but not until you're mine,"

Storm, what the hell are you doing to me?
