Sally’s POV

I glanced at him to see what he has been doing. I practice reading the assignment that Miss Kalin left with me. I also noticed he was reading his sets of books. He caught me gazing at him and his smile. It made me avoid my gaze right away.

I heard him chuckle a little as he closed his books. I am starting to feel nervous if he will pay much attention to me rather than to the things he's supposed to be doing. I hate it when he is treating me as his priority.
