Grace Lu lifted it from under the table, and it felt quite mysterious. Eiland's heart was already a bit unsettled at this point.

Grace Lu chuckled, "This was my mom's plan. She's afraid my sister might bring back a fake boyfriend home. So tonight, she brought a group of guests here and occupied all the rooms. Let's see if you two are willing to share a room."

With a snap of her fingers, Grace Lu laughed and said, "You're underestimating my mom. She's quite progressive. She even had my cousin install a voice recording device in my sister's room."
"Pfft!" Eiland nearly sprayed out a mouthful of old blood. This mother was really ahead of her time, huh? Installing a voice recording device in her daughter's room just to test her daughter's relationship with her boyfriend. If Helena Lu found out about this, she'd probably explode.
Immediately after, Grace Lu continued, "Brother-in-law, please don't tell my sister about this. Otherwise, I'll be in big trouble."

"Eiland." Suddenly, Lin Hui, who was quietly talking with Grace Lu, said to Eiland, "Don't leave tonight. Stay overnight and go back tomorrow. Helena hasn't been home in so long, and I want to talk to her more."
Eiland thought, Lin Hui really pulled off a clever trick. However, just as Eiland was about to speak, Helena Lu had already said, "Mom, don't worry. I came back to spend time with you and dad. I definitely won't leave tonight."
"That's good, that's good." Lin Hui was already smiling happily.
