chapter 4 Anymore?

"Us?" The man in the back row stood up, looking surprised.
"Just you!" Jeff Jiang nodded with a smile and beckoned to him.
The man hesitated for a moment but eventually walked up to the podium.
"What's your name?" Jeff Jiang asked the man curiously.
"I'm Gavin Zhou," the man replied.
Jeff Jiang nodded slightly and then turned to Felix Li. "Professor Li, although this person's face looks fine, his nostrils are flaring. Do you know the reason for this?"
"The bronchi seem to have some abnormalities," Felix Li said directly.
Jeff Jiang nodded and looked at the man again. "Extend your hand."
Although the man was puzzled, he still extended his hand.
Jeff Jiang used his fingers to feel the man's pulse and after a moment, he said, "Floating, weak, and empty upon pressure. Professor Li, what kind of pulse is this?"
Felix Li was surprised and then said, "Excessive internal heat!"
"Exactly. This heat is related to the lungs and has entered from the bronchi."
Jeff Jiang nodded with a smile and turned to the man. "Have you recently experienced chest tightness occasionally?"
The man hesitated and then said, "Yes, I have."
"Now, inflammation has invaded your lungs. In less than two days, you will experience coughing symptoms," Jeff Jiang said as he prepared a needle and continued, "Professor Li, watch closely."
With that, Jeff Jiang began to needle the man directly.
Inserting needles, following meridians, and targeting acupoints.
With thirteen needles in total, the man's face turned red, and he began to cough uncontrollably.
Jeff Jiang's voice sounded, "For these needle insertions, I targeted three main acupoints and seven subsidiary acupoints, all related to the spleen!"
He continued needling, and after five more needles, he said, "These five needles include two main acupoints and three subsidiary acupoints, still related to the spleen."
Then, Jeff Jiang looked at the man again and asked, "How do you feel now?"
"Relieved!" the man said, unable to help himself.
However, as soon as he spoke, he started coughing again.
Jeff Jiang was not surprised and immediately grabbed a trash can.
In an instant, the man lowered his head and spat out a mouthful of phlegm.
This scene left the students below wide-eyed and filled with disbelief, especially Mabel Lu, whose beautiful eyes were wide open in astonishment. How could he be so skilled? Could it be... she remembered when Jeff Jiang claimed to be a teacher. At first, she thought it was just a joke, but now, she felt that the possibility had become very high.
But how was it possible? Jeff Jiang's age seemed similar to theirs, and how could he be so proficient in medical skills?
"All right, smoke less in the coming days, and you will recover on your own in three days," Jeff Jiang patted the man on the back and removed the needles smoothly.
"Thank you," Gavin Zhou said, taking a deep breath. The relief he felt was like something he hadn't experienced in a long time.
After thanking him, he turned and walked away, leaving behind a look of admiration in his eyes.
It was hard to imagine that someone as young as Jeff Jiang had such high achievements in traditional Chinese medicine.
"Professor Li, did you understand?" Jeff Jiang looked at Felix Li and asked.
Felix Li took a deep breath and nodded heavily.
Jeff Jiang didn't say anything more, preparing to step down from the podium. However, at this moment, Felix Li's voice rang out, "Wait, let you teach this class."
Felix Li decided to give Jeff Jiang the responsibility of teaching the class. Jeff Jiang's knowledge exceeded his expectations, especially his mastery of acupuncture points, which surpassed his own. In this context, how could he still call himself a professor? He was more like a student.
Jeff Jiang hesitated for a moment, then shrugged and said, "Well then, I'll teach this class."
"I'll introduce myself first." As Jeff Jiang spoke, he turned and used a marker to write his name on the board. The three characters "Jeff Jiang" were written neatly.
"I'm Jeff Jiang, and from today onwards, I'll be the homeroom teacher for our class."
This announcement surprised everyone in the room. A teacher? And a homeroom teacher at that? This guy seemed to be about the same age as them, right?
Mabel Lu, in particular, with her beautiful eyes wide open, couldn't believe it. Could he really be a teacher? She remembered the awkward situation she had put herself in earlier when she mentioned Jeff Jiang's father.
Jeff Jiang continued with the lesson, and during his teaching, he used Gavin Zhou's case as a reference, making it easier for the students to understand.
Felix Li, with his aged face, was taking notes seriously, using a classmate's notebook.
As the class progressed, nearing the end of the lesson, the classroom door suddenly swung open with a loud bang, startling everyone.
Jeff Jiang turned to see a student in school uniform entering the room. The student's gaze swept the room, and then he walked casually toward the back row, completely ignoring the rest of the class.
The whole class fell silent, and Felix Li furrowed his brows. It was Bill Liu, a notorious troublemaker in the class. He was not academically inclined but was known for his fighting skills. Many students were afraid of him, especially when it came to teachers. Such a situation had happened before in his class, but this time, he was the homeroom teacher.
"Wait a minute!" A cold voice broke the silence. Bill Liu stopped in his tracks and looked up, his gaze fixed on Jeff Jiang. "Are you talking to me?"
"Who else?" Jeff Jiang shrugged. "I don't know about other teachers, but in my class, if you don't want to listen, you can leave."
"Leave?" Bill Liu raised his head, squinting his eyes, and then grinned. "Are you sure? Maybe the one who's going to leave is you!"
Almost as soon as Bill Liu finished speaking, three students in the class stood up, their hostile eyes fixed on Jeff Jiang.
"What do you guys want, Bill Liu?" Mabel Lu stood up and glared at him. She couldn't bear to see another homeroom teacher being bullied away.
Bill Liu's expression changed slightly. He was about to say something when Jeff Jiang's smiling voice interrupted, "Four? Anyone else?"
With that, Jeff Jiang's eyes sparkled with an enigmatic smile, and he stepped down from the podium, beckoning, "Are you coming one by one or all at once?"
