chapter 3 You have to be gentle!

Silas followed Hazel to the room on the second floor and saw a middle-aged man lying on the bed inside,
connected to some vital sign-monitoring instruments!
Moreover, the middle-aged man had obviously been lying on the bed for a long time as his face was pale and bony bones were protruding all over his body.
At this moment, the Summer family's doctors were busy resuscitating the middle-aged man.
But after a while, they all halted in their movements.
An older man in a white coat came to Hazel and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Ms. Hazel, we did all we could. You guys should start the preparation work for Mr. Oscar's funeral."
"Dad!"
Hazel's tears streamed down her face uncontrollably, and she lay on the hospital bed, crying bitterly when she heard the news.
"My condolences, Hazel. We are also very sad about the death of Oscar, but the most important thing now is to prepare for his funeral."
Felix consoled Hazel, wanting to act like the news saddened him, but the man couldn't hide the smile at the corner of his mouth.
Eric even took out his cell phone and stated, "I have already found a suitable cemetery spot for Uncle Oscar. I will contact them now so we can cremate Uncle Oscar tonight and bury him."
Slap!
Before Eric could make the call, Silas slapped him in the face. "This is your uncle we are talking about here. You are trying to get him cremated before he is dead. Are you still a human?"
"I'll fight you, country bumpkin!"
Eric charged at Silas with bloodshot eyes.
Silas had slapped him three times in a short time, and he had never been treated in this manner as the descendant of the Summer family.
However, Silas angrily kicked Eric away, saying, "You want to resort to violence just because I lectured you? You're such a savage!"
"That's enough!"
"Brat, do you think I'm a pushover, and that's why you hit my son continuously?"
"I won't let you leave the Xia residence if you don't explain today's incident well,"
Felix said with a frosty and solemn expression.
"Who are you trying to scare? It's obviously your son's fault. My father-in-law is still alive, but your son wants to cremate him? Isn't this murder?"
"If you think this is the correct thing to do, would you like me to have you cremated now?"
Silas pursed his lips, retorting Felix's words fiercely.
Meanwhile, Felix was so frustrated that he wanted to curse. This was the first time he met such a sharp-tongued person!
"Silas, is it true when you said my dad is still alive?"
Hazel looked at Silas as if she was clutching onto the last straws.
"Ms. Hazel, your father's breathing and heartbeat have stopped. He has no vital signs anymore. This young man is just spewing nonsense!"
The older adult in the white coat shook his head.
His name was Atlas Larson, and he was a well-known doctor throughout Tarrin City, so the Summer family spent a lot of money to hire him as their family doctor.
Hazel's eyes suddenly dimmed. After all, Atlas' words were still very authoritative and trustworthy!
"Haha, that is just a diagnosis method for doctors like you who are beginners in the medical field. For me, as long as my father-in-law is not dead, I have the confidence to cure him."
Silas chuckled and walked over to the hospital bed.
Then, in a flash of movements that no one could see clearly, nine black silver needles were inserted into Oscar's body.
Immediately afterwards, Silas waved his hand, and the nine silver needles trembled simultaneously as wisps of spiritual energy entered Oscar's body through the vibration!
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The instruments sounded, and Oscar's heartbeat miraculously recovered!
"How is this possible?!"
Atlas, Felix and Eric widened their eyes in shock!
"Dad!"
There was a surprise on Hazel's face, and she looked hope-filled, gazing at Oscar, who was lying on the bed.
