The crowd was puzzled, wondering what "Three Spirits Gather One Point" meant.
Cyneburg Wu, seemingly oblivious to their confusion, slowly ended his technique, and the column of Qi vanished. Swiftly, he removed all the golden needles and said indifferently, "All done."
Fariat Chu stood up, moving his arms and neck around, feeling an unparalleled sense of comfort and ease, as if he had returned to his twenties.
Overwhelmed with joy and surprise, he grasped Cyneburg's hand gratefully, saying, "Miracle Doctor Wu, I will never forget this life-saving grace!"
Cyneburg, seeing Fariat's genuine demeanor, smiled slightly and said, "General Chu, there's no need for formalities. You serve our country in the military, and it's my honor to alleviate your pain."
Fariat laughed heartily, "Miracle Doctor Wu, I won’t say more. When you have time, come to the northwest and visit me. I'll make sure you're well taken care of!"
Cyneburg replied with a smile, "Certainly!"
Isaiah Chu approached, handing a bank card to Cyneburg, "Mr. Wu, this is a small token of our gratitude. Please accept it."
Cyneburg Wu accepted the card without pretense, directly pocketing it, "Thanks."
Isaiah held great respect for Cyneburg, and Cyneburg also saw him as a worthy acquaintance. They exchanged contact details before the Chu family departed.
As the convoy left Dragon Lake Prison, Isaiah Chu suddenly asked one of the guards, "Uncle Aldo, what did you mean by 'Three Spirits Gather One Point'?"
Uncle Aldo, nicknamed "Ghost Aldo" for his exceptional marksmanship, looked at Cyneburg with awe since witnessing the Qi column, making Isaiah curious.
Uncle Aldo took a deep breath and explained, "Three Spirits Gather One Point is a highly advanced stage in Qi cultivation. Someone at this level is just a step away from becoming a Grandmaster of the Divine Realm."
Isaiah was astounded. A Grandmaster?
Uncle Aldo continued, "You might not understand the significance, but even within thirty meters, facing him, I'd have no chance of survival. Within fifty meters, only a ten percent chance!"
Isaiah was shocked, "Only a ten percent chance within fifty meters?"
Uncle Aldo nodded, "Someone at that stage has a mind as sharp as a deity and moves like a ghost. Trying to assassinate them is nearly impossible. My ten percent chance is only in an open space like a square. If there's the cover, I'd be doomed."
Isaiah pondered, "It seems I should make a strong alliance with Cyneburg Wu."
Soon after the Chu family left, Keitaro Li came out with a stack of papers for Cyneburg to sign. After signing, Keitaro smiled, "Brother Wu, if all goes well, you'll be free tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Cyneburg Wu, too impatient to wait even a moment, frowned and asked, "Can't I leave now?"
Keitaro thought for a moment and then determinedly said, "Fine, you can leave now. I'll handle the rest of the procedures. I'll call you once it's done."
Cyneburg thanked him with a bow, "Brother Li, I appreciate it!"
Keitaro waved his hand, "We've been acquaintances for two years, no need for formalities. Let's say goodbye to them."
Cyneburg's farewell was to over a thousand prisoners, many of whom he had helped with various ailments. He had significantly improved their conditions, earning their gratitude.
Even the prison guards had sought his help for their own and their families' health issues.
In the prison's exercise yard, a diverse group of inmates and dozens of guards were waiting for him. Upon seeing Cyneburg, they bowed in unison and shouted, "Welcome back anytime!"
Cyneburg Wu was initially slightly moved, but upon hearing this farewell, he immediately cursed humorously: "To hell with you all!"
The guards, wanting to avoid trouble, kept the farewell brief. After a few shouts of 'Take care,' they were hurried back inside. In the end, only Keitaro and a few of his deputies escorted Cyneburg out.
"Little brother, once you leave, it'll be hard for us to meet again. If you need anything, just give me a call. I'll do whatever I can to help," Keitaro said, his tone heartfelt.
Cyneburg rubbed his nose, "Alright, I'll come and visit when I have time. Remember, you need to continue taking the medicine I prescribed for another three months."
Six months ago, Keitaro was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Cyneburg had snatched him back from the clutches of death, making him one of the most grateful for Cyneburg's help.
"I know, I've been taking it regularly," Keitaro laughed.
As they stepped out of the prison gates, Keitaro pulled out a bank card and handed it to Cyneburg.
Cyneburg was taken aback, "What's this?"
Keitaro smiled, "Little brother, this is 200,000 dollars, a collection from all of us guards. It's not much, but it's a token of our appreciation. Consider it a wedding gift for when you get married. But remember to invite us to your wedding!"
Cyneburg felt a warmth in his heart. Keitaro, though sly, had a genuinely kind side. Without any pretense, he accepted the card.
Keitaro then handed over a note to Cyneburg, which had an address and contact information on it, saying earnestly, "Little brother, this is the granddaughter of a wealthy businessman. I've managed to arrange this opportunity for you. If you can cure her, the consultation fee will be at least seven figures!"
Cyneburg's interest was piqued. He carefully stored the note and thanked Keitaro, "Thanks! And please thank the others for me too. No need to see me off, I'm leaving now!"
With his straightforward nature, Cyneburg turned and walked away.
He called a car and instructed the driver to head towards the bus station, about a two-hour drive. Although he had lived in prison for two years, he always had access to a phone and relatively comfortable living conditions.
As the car started moving, Cyneburg thought to himself, "I'm finally going home!" His eyes flickered with longing and hatred.
His thoughts drifted back to two years ago when he was still a sophomore with excellent grades. Tragedy struck when his father was fatally hit by a speeding car while on his way to work.
The driver was Akamu Song, a wealthy heir, not only speeding but also driving under the influence. Despite the severity of the incident, Akamu's influential family manipulated the facts, shifting most of the blame onto Cyneburg's father, and settled the matter with a mere compensation of 200,000 dollars.
Akamu, responsible for the hit-and-run while intoxicated, continued his extravagant lifestyle unabated, shielded by someone taking the blame for him.
Cyneburg, sensing foul play, began investigating. During his inquiry, he was attacked by a group of unidentified assailants. In the ensuing chaos, he grabbed a dagger and critically injured one of them.
He was also wounded, and his blood activated a seal on a jade pendant he wore. This unleashed a profound legacy from an ancient civilization and a special ability, the "Eye of Dimensions." This ability gave him the power to see through the human body, perceiving its meridians, flesh, and nerves, and even to detect beings from other dimensions, such as immortals, demons, and ghosts.
The legacy contained in the jade pendant included a vast range of knowledge in medicine, sorcery, array formation, and martial arts.
Stunned by this sudden influx of information, Cyneburg remained frozen on the spot until the police arrived and arrested him. The court charged him with assault and intentional harm, sentencing him to seven years in prison.
Once incarcerated, Cyneburg immersed himself in studying the legacy of ancient civilization, specializing in medicine and martial arts. Within just six months, he became known as a miracle doctor in prison.
A year later, people outside the prison also sought his medical expertise. He didn't charge for his services but asked for sentence reductions in exchange. This earned him an extraordinary status, even making the prison warden, Keitaro Li, treat him with utmost respect and camaraderie.
Compared to his medical skills, his martial arts abilities were even more formidable, although he never revealed them in prison, keeping them unknown to the inmates.
"Mom, little sister, I'm coming home!"
"And Indie, you've waited for me for two years. I, Cyneburg Wu, will treat you well!"
"Lastly, Akamu Song! You killed my father. I will make your life a living hell!"
Cyneburg silently plotted, his eyes alternating between tenderness and ferocity.
