Chapter 21 A Splendid Scene

At 10 A.M, the big villa of the Xia Family

The people of the Xia Family set out in full force and gathered in the big villa.

With Xinlei Cai （Master Cai) being the host and to be held in the Breeze Dining, this feast was one in a million and was extremely rare. The people of the Xia Family were all beautifully and gracefully dressed up, especially the ladies who were even more attractive and impressive than flowers.

As soon as Jenny and Guilan showed up, they became the focus of the party.

They neither dressed themselves up elaborately, nor did they look decent because Jenny’s eyes were red and swollen.

“Guilan, what’s wrong with you two? Don’t you know my son in-law to-be is going to entertain us? Why do you still look so miserable and shabby?” It was Julia’s mother Yuzhen Xiong talking.

Guilan was on the edge of breaking down and she was so jealous of Yuzhen Xiong’s good fortune that when she heard her saying so, she immediately fought back, “He’s your son in-law to-be, not mine, why should I dress up? What’s he to me?”

Yuzhen Xiong said angrily, “Xinlei Cai is such a big shot that meeting him would cost you your whole life’s good fortune. You wouldn’t even put something nice on, no wonder you have a stupid son in-law.”

“Yea, both of you are dressed as if you were in a funeral. Who do you want to disgust?”

“The Old Lady shouldn’t have informed them of this party. It seems all they can do is put shame on our Xia Family.”

Many people blamed along, as if Jenny and Guilan were some unforgivable heinous sinners.

Apparently, they helped Yuzhen with a purpose. They thought with such an excellent son in-law, she must blossom with his help in the future, thus having a good relationship with her now was of great significance.

Guilan was hopelessly outnumbered. Mean had she always been, she couldn’t even talk back at the moment.

In such noise, out the Old Lady came, holding Julia’s hand.

Everyone was silent.

Obviously the Julia today had become her favorite granddaughter, holding Julia was like holding her heart in hand.

On arriving the hall, the Old Lady said joyfully, “My grandson in-law Xinlei Cai is the most favored son in the Cai Family. It’s our Xia Family’s great honor to be entertained today by him. So I hope everyone could behave yourself and don’t embarrass the family. Do you all hear me?”

“Yes, madam.” They answered.

“Come over here, Jenny.” Looking at Jenny, the Old Lady said.

Jenny walked up to her grandma, with her head lowered down.

Staring at Jenny, the Old Lady said unhappily, “Look at you Jenny. You yourself are in good condition. Even if you don’t want the Wang Family, it won’t be difficult for you to find another rich family. Why are you still in marriage with Andy Wu? What else can he do except putting shame on our family?”

Jenny didn’t make a sound with her mouth closely shut.

With a pause, the Old Lady continued, “I shall ask Xinlei Cai to introduce some single friends of his and if there’s really someone good, you need to get a divorce with Andy Wu immediately.”

By doing this, the Old Lady was not really think for Jenny’s good, instead, she had had enough of Andy and was afraid this fool might cause trouble for the family again.

Jenny had been so exhausted both emotionally and physically. Her mood had been moving up and down as well. It’s like when you finally saw some hope, you got desperate again instead, like falling into the hell and not able to move. She realized that if she planned to spend her whole life with Andy, she would be in this hell forever. But how could she dump him again while she was telling him to be together the other day?

Jenny’s heart was about to shatter. She didn’t know what to do, nor did she know how to answer her grandma.

At this moment, someone shouted in surprise, “Grandma, there are so many cars outside!”

The Old Lady said coldly, “Don’t make a fuss! Haven’t you seen cars before?”

“They are limousines!” The person continued.

The Old Lady frowned and hurried out of the villa.

Following her, the others went out as well.

There were around sixty bright and shiny limos parking on the broad street outside the villa.

What’s more, they each could be worth millions of dollars.

It was like an exhibition of limos.

The people of the Xia Family were all blinded by the marvelous limos, with their mouths and eyes wide open.
It was like a dream to everyone. They couldn’t believe what they saw.

As everyone was deep in shock, a professional driver wearing a black suit and white gloves came out of the Panamera Porsche parked in the front line. He asked the people who were in a nasty shock, “Excuse me, is this the Xia family?”

The Old Lady came up and answered, “Yes, and what’s this all about?”

“We’ve got orders to fetch the Xia Family to the Breeze Dining.” The professional driver answered politely and gracefully.

What he said woke the people who were confused. Everyone got excited again at once.

“Oh Master Cai it is! How generous of him to have sent a team of limos to fetch us!”

“Oh it really broaden my eyes! He could be so generous like this when meeting the parents, what else would he offer if they got married in the future?”

“Master Cai is the right man!”

Even the Old Lady couldn’t help but sighed, “What a gentleman Master Cai is!”

Everyone was excited and thrilled.

Everyone was so generous with their praise for Xinlei Cai.

Especially Julia’s face was glowing with joy. She felt this was the most glorious moment in her life. She was so proud.

The couple Xingbang Xia and Yuzhen Xiong was too happy to close their mouths. They felt so honored as the scene was so grand and tremendous.

“Let’s not waste time. Let’s get in the car and leave.” The Old Lady ordered and stopped everyone’s discussion.

All the people of the Xia Family acted and jumped in their favorite cars.

The grand team of limousines drove all the way to the Breeze Dining.

At 11A.M, Xinlei Cai arrived at the Breeze Dining.

It was still not the time for meals but the Breeze Dining was already busy with a lot of people waiting in line to get a table.

With his reputation and power, Xinlei Cai didn’t have to wait in line of course, so he walked directly inside after he got out of his car.

“Manager Cheng, I called to reserve fifteen big tables. Are they all set?” He came to Yong Cheng, manager of the Breeze Dining Hall.

Yong Cheng laughed, “You called in person, we surely would arrange everything well. Don’t worry. The tables are all reserved for you and they are all lined with each other.” Xinlei Cai was really a big shot to have been able to reserve fifteen big tables.

So he said, “Menu, please, I’d like to order now.”

Yong Cheng nodded, “Absolutely.” While he was getting the menu, his phone ran.

As soon as he heard from the phone, his face changed. He said with a worried look, “Boss, I don’t think it a good idea as we have so many distinguished guests today.”

But after hearing what the other said said, Yong Cheng immediately got frustrated, “Alright, I’ll handle it well.”

On hanging up the phone, Yong Cheng ordered everyone, “Clear up this place now! All the guests should be escorted out and their meals shall be free of charge!”

Manager Cheng’s order was like thunder in the sunny sky.

At once, the quiet and peaceful Breeze Dining Hall became loud and noisy. Everyone was surprised and shocked and was at a loss. No one could have thought of being kicked out in Breeze.

It was known that the people who came to dine in Breeze were either rich or powerful. What kind of embarrassment was it that they were being escorted out?

“Manager, would you like to reconsider?” A leading waiter urged him.

“Do as I said!” Yong ordered with a serious face.

There was absolutely no doubt in his tone. He had no choice. He knew it clearer than anyone else what it might bring if a restaurant kicked its customers out, but big boss’s order was in no doubt changeable.

At once, all the waiters went to the tables and started to do their job.

Most of the customers were cooperative as they were aware of the result of messing with the boss of the Breeze.

But some customers refused to leave as they considered their dignity deeply hurt.

For people like this, Yong had a direct but easy way as he didn’t have enough time to persuade them one by one. He ordered directly, “Let the guards in and throw these people all out!”

A group of guards crowded in and started to push people out.

Xinlei Cai was shocked at the scene and asked, “Manager Cheng, what’’s this all about? My tables are fine, right?”

Yong replied, “I am so sorry Master Cai, but it’s the big boss’s order that everyone be cleared out by noon, no matter who or what he is.”

Xinlei frowned and complained, “I have made an appointment with you in advance and my girlfriend has already told her family that I would entertain them here. You can’t make me a liar!”

Yong said seriously, “Then you’ll have to go to another restaurant!”

Xinlei’s look got serious too. He had planned to show it off by hosting a party here, not only to show his generosity but also his capability. All the other restaurants were low class compared to this one. What’s more, to change what had already been decided on was really a slap on his face.

Thinking of these, Xinlei addressed, “I am the VIP here in your restaurant. Do you really want me to lose face?”

Staring back at Xinlei, Yong said word by word, “That’s all I can tell you. I have already given you face. This is the boss’s order. Even your dad must get out if he were here, not to mention you!”

Finishing his words, Yong shouted directly, “Guards, show Master Cai the way out!”

The proud Xinlei Cai couldn’t do anything but got escorted out by two guards.

There were so many people outside of the Breeze. They were the rich and powerful people who got kicked out, as well as the people who passed and stopped by.

Soon there were crowds of people in just a short time. Neither one left because all of them wanted to see which big shot had got this privilege to clear out the Breeze!

By the entrance of the parking lot stood about ten guards who were keeping the order.

By the door of the Breeze Dining stood about a hundred waiters and waitresses. They were ready to welcome the guests. All of them were standing straight and still on both sides of the door, waiting respectfully.

That moment, as everyone could witness, a long line of limousines drove up slowly.

The limos lit up the whole place.

Finally, the cars were parked in order in the parking lot of the Breeze.

Then all the professional drivers got out of the limos and opened the door respectfully.

The people of the Xia Family got out of the cars, welcomed by the drivers.

“Welcome!” All the waiters and waitresses welcomed in a loud voice.

The voice resounded to the skies!
