Chapter 16 Prove Myself To Him

by G Point 15:29,Sep 18,2020
When Charles Hockley took over the M.R company, he must have known about the company's dispute with Diva Jewelry. However, he still left the matter to her to let she must settle the contract. Obviously, he was entrapping her.

Linda looked at Rosemary Johnson's face as if she had guessed something, and she sympathized, "Secretary Johnson, the President of Diva Jewelry Mr. Cameron is a fastidious person. If you want to cooperate with their company, it might be a bit ..... difficult."

Rosemary, who had already read Diva Jewelry's information, nodded, with an urge to cry.

It was not a bit difficult, but as difficult as touching the sky!

While Charles had commanded earlier, asking her to resolve the matter within five days.

Tomorrow was the deadline.

Rosemary did nothing all afternoon, just called Diva Jewelry.

But when the other side heard that she was a stuff from M.R, he immediately hung up the phone, and even the employee who answered the phone sneered, "Hey, are you a newcomer and didn't know the situation? Your M.R company is going to bankrupt, and you want to find our Diva Jewelry to make a cooperation?"

Damn!

If you don't want to cooperate, you could refuse. What's everyone's problem of being a complacent jerk?

After lying down in a chair aggrieved for a while, Rosemary went to Diva Jewelry's website and pretended to be a customer to ask for a customer service. After talking for nearly half an hour, the customer service reported the number of Diva's boss to her.

Diva’s boss Mr. Cameron was kind and didn’t immediately hang up after learning that she was an employee of M.R. He just said that Diva’s new jewelry has already designated a spokesperson, and he himself has not been free recently.

However, Rosemary caught the information that he will go to the cocktail party tomorrow.

After quickly writing down the address of the reception, Rosemary smiled slightly and said, "Okay, since Mr. Cameron is busy, I won't bother you any longer."

She didn't believe that she couldn't catch him at the reception!

Capital Hotel on Thursday night.

Rosemary wore a navy blue V-neck mesh high-definition gown. She was slender and slim. Her two exposed arms were tender and crystal-clear, bright eyes, bright red lips, and the smile on her delicate face was just right.

Her whole person was covered with a hazy radiance, like the goddess of star.

With the male partner in one hand and the skirt in the other hand, she attracted the attention of many men as soon as she stepped into the banquet hall.

Unfortunately, Charles was also there!

He stood in the crowd, like the moon arched by stars, his whole demeanor was graceful and calm.

Hearing the commotion at the door, he just glanced there a little, the cold eyes made Rosemary unstable and almost fell.

But he quickly retracted his gaze and raised his glass to clink with the entrepreneur in front of him, as if her appearance didn't matter.

The male companion supported Rosemary elegantly, and asked concernedly, "Rosemary, are you okay?"

Rosemary shook her head.

Had it not been for this friend and the invitation letter in his hand, Rosemary might not be able to come.

Rosemary calmed her mind and looked around. After catching Diva's President Mr. Cameron, she excused herself from her friend. As she went there, she took a glass of red wine from the waiter's tray.

"Mr. Cameron."

After Diva's Mr. Cameron finished talking to others, Rosemary smiled brightly and walked over with a wine glass, "I have heard of the name of President Cameron for a long time, but I never thought I would be lucky enough to meet you here."

Walter Cameron of Diva Jewelry was a middle-aged man in his forties. He was dressed in an elegant black suit. He was tall and big, making people feel good, at least not difficult to get along with.

When seeing Rosemary, Walter's eyes flashed with a touch of surprise, "May I ask you who you are, Miss?"

"The one who called you twice this afternoon."

Rosemary smiled with pursing her lips and stretched out her hand generously, "Hello, Mr. Cameron, I am the chief secretary of M.R company-Rosemary Johnson."

Suddenly, Walter knew why this woman's voice sounded so familiar.

He stretched out his hand and shook Rosemary's. The soft and delicate hand made Mr. Cameron's eyes sink a little, and then he smiled, "Miss Johnson, I'm really sorry, it's not that I want to reject you on purpose, it's really that there are too many things recently."

Rosemary nodded, expressing her understanding: "I am attending this reception with a friend. I want to see if I can seek a partner. I didn't expect that you are here, Mr. Cameron."

After a pause, Rosemary asked, "Mr. Cameron, is it convenient for you to talk to me about cooperation. You are an old friend of our M.R. We will definitely treat you well in cooperation."
