Chapter 12 Luxury cars

Gwen Wen sat on the floor; she felt her heart was broken into pieces; the physical soreness and pain was nothing compared with that sort of sorrow, anger in her heart; but all she could do was bite her lip fiercely to keep the tears from falling down.

This was the man she once loved--carrying the one she hated the most and asking her to get out of his sight.

Gwen Wen picked herself up and staggered toward the car, when suddenly the Lu’s car turned sharply around, passed Gwen and headed straight for Aaron Yu's Ferrari.

A loud “bang”, followed by several more steel rustling sounds, made Gwen Wen's body jolt.

It took Gwen Wen a while to turn her head and saw that Aaron Yu's Ferrari had been knocked into pieces by Lu's car.

“What the hell!”
Aaron Yu, who was carrying Anne Wen, flew into a rage when he turned around; he dropped Anne on the floor and rushed out to roar at the driver.

Lu's driver got out of the car calmly and nodded to Aaron Yu. "Hello, Sir, you have crashed my car. The repair cost would be about five million dollars, would you like to pay with cash or credit card?"

"Are you nuts? Obviously you crashed my car, this car has been a wreck, you dare to ask me for compensation?! I am telling you, ten million dollars, or you are not going anywhere!"

Aaron Yu grabbed the driver by the collar and threatened to hit him while Dawson Wen and Susan Zhang, who hurried out at the loud noise, held him back.

Dawson Wen pulled Aaron Yu far away as he recognized that the license plate of this Rolls-Royce belonged to the Lu Family.

"Aaron, forget about it, let them leave, I will buy you a better one."

"Mr. Wen, how could we let go of him so easily? He crashed my car on purpose and dared to ask me for compensation!
The surveillance cameras on the road and the driving records in my car are all evidence. Today, I need to teach them a lesson, that’s the only way they would learn to respect me, Aaron Yu!"

"Aaron, listen to me! That's Lu's car! The Lu Family!
Do you really wanna reason with the Lu family? Annoyed, they could call the white black, and that’s when you land yourself on serious trouble! Suck it up and leave it be.”

Dawson Wen pointed to Gwen, reminding Aaron Yu of a living example of provoking Lus.

At the name of “Lu Family”, Aaron Yu arrogance evaporated fast, especially when he saw Gwen Wen’s miserable situation; Lu Family had always been vengeful which he could get a glimpse of from their action taken against Gwen Wen three years ago.

Yu Family could not afford to offend the Lu family, nor did Aaron want to.

Aaron Yu coughed calmly, straightened his suit, and walked up to the driver. "You car was also slightly scratched, tho mine was wrecked; but anyway, you are simply a driver, I am gonna leave it here; just go!”

The driver maintained his professional smile: "Sir, I think you made a mistake, it is not about you leaving it here; just for your information, my master love this car very much, and the amount of this special edition was only five globally; Even slight scratches could still cost millions of dollars; from the damages, five million had been very fair."

"You! You are!"
The driver’s unyielding reaction and attitude enraged Aaron Yu even more.

Anne Wen thought over Dawson Wen's words and didn't want Aaron Yu to start a feud with Lu's family, so she acted in a spoiled way by saying, "Aaron, my foot hurts a lot. Leave daddy to deal with the rest. Isn’t my wound what you cared about most..."

"Get the fuck out of my way! Don’t you see I am in the middle of something!"

Aaron Yu shrugged off Anne Wen, and Gwen Wen, standing nearby, smiled sarcastically as she saw this.
