Chapter 9 There Was Something Wrong In The Office Today

Daisy covered her face and prayed for herself. After calming down, she found out the unopened mung beans, red beans and black beans from the cupboard, and planned to make a bowl of hangover soup with mixed beans.

Hangover soup is nothing special. Basically, it can be made by vegetables and fruits.

When she finished, it was almost two o'clock. She brought out the soup, but there was no one on the sofa.

Putting the bowl on table, she unconsciously looked at the second floor where there was a faint sound of water.

Knowing that Jim was probably taking a bath, she pressed her lips, took out a notebook from her pocket, bit the pen cap, wrote a line on the notebook, and then tore off the paper and put it under the bowl.

After that, she took another look upstairs, carried her bag and left.

When Jim came downstairs while wiping his hair, the living room was silent. His pretty brow was frowning. Only then did he see the steaming hangover soup on the tea table. Naturally, he also saw the note under it.

The font on the note was very graceful, with only one line on it, "Mr Jing, drink the hangover soup while it's hot, good night, see you tomorrow."

He raised his eyebrows, threw away his towel, and sat down on the sofa. He picked up the soup, smelled it, which was fragrant, and took a sip, and it tasted good. What's more, the beans were cooked well. He even took a few mouthfuls, and his stomach was really comfortable.

After drinking the soup, he remembered something, got up, put on his coat, and went downstairs to the parking lot.

Opening the door, he looked for in the front seat for a while before finding a yellow file pocket. He temporarily decided to go on a business trip tomorrow, but the USB flash drive of the project was left in the company, and the contract was left in the car. He had to leave first in the middle of drinking. He first went to the office to get the USB flash drive and then went to the parking lot to get the documents.

But he didn't expect that the woman would think he was going to drunk driving.

In her views, was he such a person with no legal concept?

However, since her hangover soup tasted good, he would pass over it.

The next day, when Daisy arrived at the company, she obviously felt that there was something wrong in the office.

A few assistants whispered, and when they saw her approaching, they shut up, then looked her up and down, and finally dispersed in a hubbub.

She was puzzled. When she went back to the office in a daze to move out the documents she had finished last night, only to find that Yun Xiang's office door was closed. She asked Yun's assistant, "Where is Yun Xiang?"

The assistant was immersed in reading a magazine. When she heard Daisy's voice, she was shocked, hurriedly threw the magazine into the files and looked up, "Oh, sister Xiang, she went on a business trip with Mr Jing. It was decided temporarily, and sister Li also went with them."

"Mr Jing is on a business trip?" Daisy turned her head and looked at the door of the general manager's office.

The assistant snickered in an ambiguous way, "Why, don't you know that Mr Jing's leaving?"

How could she know? She was not responsible for Mr. Jing's daily trip. She was a document secretary, and all she did was file transactions.

Seeing that she didn't speak, the assistant thought that she was angry and quickly made up for it, "maybe the time is so tight that Mr Jing didn't have time to inform you."

Why should she be informed?

Daisy stared at the assistant suspiciously, and the assistant was scared, scratching her head, quickly pulling out the keyboard and pretending to work.

Yun suddenly went on a business trip. She didn't know who these documents should be given to, so she had to move back again. When the door was closed, through the window, she saw that the people outside clustered together again. She had no idea what they were whispering about, sometimes they pointed at her side.

There must be something wrong in the office today.

In the whole morning, Daisy sent and received emails in the secretary office, and reviewed some contracts. At noon, someone knocked on her door.

"Come in." She answered without looking up.
