"You're here." when Daisy was woolgathering, an elegant voice, coming from the right.

Daisy turned her head and saw a lady dressed in grace and smiling. She came over slowly. She smiled kindly at Jim and said, "This is the first time I asked you to come back for dinner, you are so punctual."

"Umm" Jim replied, look at the second floor.

"Your dad is on the phone and will come down in a moment." After Ying Xue finished speaking, she looked at Daisy, and looking down. She saw they are still holding hands. There was a strange flash in her eyes, "You are Daisy, right?"

Daisy was flattered and nodded quickly, "Yes, madam, I am Daisy."

Ying smiled faintly, "Take it easy. You are Jim's friend. Just call me aunt."

Daisy nodded, but she couldn't really call her like that. Ying was being polite, but she can't push her luck.

"Well, sit down." Ying took a seat at the dining table. As Jim saw Daisy was too nervous, he used fingers to caress in her palm, silently comforting her.

Daisy felt that her palm was itchy. She looked down and almost cried. When did Mr Jing put his fingers in her palm? Don't they have been holding like this just now? In front of the president's wife, are they also holding like this?

The expression on her face not only didn't relax, but also turned gloomy. Daisy swallowed, retracted her hand in fear, stretched out her hand on her back, and rubbed her palm hard, as if to rub off the breath of Jim's.

Jim squinted his eyes slightly, and felt little displeased.

They took seats, and the servant served the dishes one by one. After a while, footsteps came from the second floor, Jim stood up, Daisy quickly followed to stand up too.

Under the help of special assistant, Hantian Jing slowly went down the stairs, when he glanced at Jim, a trace of displeasure appeared on his calm face. Looking at Daisy beside him, he felt more displeased.

"Why do you always bring those indecent people home?"

Indecent?

Daisy's face turned red all of a sudden, and even her ears were very hot.

Ying stepped forward, took the hand of Hantian, held him, and said softly, "Don't scare the girl. Since I asked Jim to bring the girl back, we have to have a meal with her."

Hantian didn't speak, with grave expression.

On the large round wooden table, there were only four people sitting around, with seven or eight servants serving around.

Never had she seen this scene before, Daisy felt ill at ease.

Jim was sitting quietly, and occasionally gave Daisy two dishes to avoid her embarrassment.

Daughter of an eminent family used to follow the rules that eat without talking and sleep without speaking. Hantian seemed to be the gentleman who respect his wife, and Jim was raised by Ying. These rules were naturally inherited by Jim.

But it's hard for Daisy. She only felt that the atmosphere at the dinner was so depressive that she couldn't even breathe the stern old president, the president's wife who was gentle but strict, and Jim who had hardly spoken a word since coming in. After eating with these three people, Daisy felt that she would have stomach ulcers.

This meal lasted for about half an hour. After that, the servant took away the dinner plate. Ying assisted Hantian to sit down on the sofa in the sitting room, and Jim held Daisy's hand and walked over.

But why did they have to hold hands? Daisy was about to cry, and tried to break free for several times, but she didn't succeed. Finally, her palm was so gripped by Jim, and she was dragged in front of Hantian and Ying.

"Bang." The abrupt noise startled Daisy.

When she looked up, she saw the old president patting the armrest of the sofa, and his face was deep and dark, "You bastard, you are gonna piss me off, don't you!" He angrily shouted.

Jim looked at him calmly and spited out a word, "Sorry."

This made him even angrier.
