Chapter 5 I'm Sorry

"Boss, pack a cigarette."

"You are so punctual every day."

In the canteen across the street from the Su Family's company, the boss looked at Sean Han and sighed.

This young man had appeared here on time since three years ago. No matter what thing had happened, he would appear on time. At first, the boss felt strange, but then he gradually realized that every time Kelly left the company, he would also leave.

The boss had a rough guess of the identity of Sean, but he didn't say it. Every family had its own problems. He could guess who he was. Perhaps he didn't want others to know who he was.

"I'm free anyway." Sean smiled.

The boss was a middle-aged man. He admired Sean's persistence. For the past three years, he appeared on time at half-past four every day and protected Kelly in silence.

"When are you going to pick her up? Do you prepare to look at her like this every day?" There was no guest in the shop, so the boss chatted with Sean.

Looking at the gate of the company of the Su Family, Sean smiled and said, "it's not the time yet."

"Young man, can I say something?" The boss asked.

"Of course."

"I don't think you are an ordinary person. How could you marry into the Su Family?" Although the boss didn't have a pair of sharp eyes, he met a lot of guests every day. In his eyes, Sean was different from others. He didn't know why he had such a feeling, but he thought that Sean shouldn't be a loser like others said.

"Of course, I'm an ordinary person. I have to eat and drink every day, too." Sean said.

"You know I didn't mean that." The boss hesitated for a moment and continued, "I would have collapsed if I had suffered so much mock and ridicule like you."

Sean smiled. When he and Kelly got married, he had nothing, and he was capable of nothing, relying on the Su Family. Even Kelly didn't collapse. How could he collapse?

In the eyes of others, Sean bore so much humiliation.

But in the eyes of Sean, Kelly had suffered much mock than him.

"What I have endured is nothing compared to her." Said Sean.

The boss sighed and said nothing more.

After Kelly got off work, Sean said goodbye to the boss as usual and left on the electric bicycle.

Kelly stood at the door of the company until the figure of Sean disappeared.

In the past three years, Sean had been waiting for Kelly to get off work every day.

As for Kelly, she wouldn't get in the car until Sean left.

Back home, when Harry Su told Erin Jiang what had happened in the meeting, Erin seemed to be crazy.

"Kelly, are you crazy? Have you ever thought about how we could live in the future if we were kicked out of the Su Family?"

"Owen provoked you on purpose. Don't you know what he's thinking?"

Kelly said indifferently, "He wants to kick us out of the Su Family, so they could get more property."

Hearing this, Erin was so angry that her face turned livid. She roared, "Since you know that, why do you agree with his demand? How can you do something that they haven't solved yet?"

Kelly was in a complicated mood now. She did not know whether she should trust Sean or not.

Although her family had a low position in the company, they could get a sum of money after Matriarch Su died. If they were kicked out of the Su Family, they could get nothing.

However, since she had said it, she could not get her words back.

"Mom, why don't you trust me?" Said Kelly.

Erin was so angry that she thumped her chest and said, "How can I believe you? All the relatives of the Su Family couldn't make it done. How can you do that?"

Kelly didn't know how she could do that. The only reason that she agreed to this was because of the message from Sean.

At this time, Sean returned home. He walked to Kelly and said to Erin, "Mom, you should believe her. I'm sure she can do it."

Erin cast an impatient glance at Han and said coldly, "It has nothing to do with you. Kelly's so beautiful. If you hadn't married into our family, she would definitely marry into a rich family in the future. You ruined us and have no right to speak."

Sean went to the kitchen to cook in silence.

"Sean, can I trust you?" Kelly suddenly said to Sean.

Sean turned around and said with a smile, "yes."

"What happened?" Erin sensed that something was wrong, so she asked Kelly in a hurry.

"Come here and make it clear. Are you involved in this matter? Did you ask Kelly to agree?" Erin questioned Sean.

Kelly clearly knew that if Erin knew that Sean asked her to agree on the thing, Erin would definitely make things difficult for Sean and kicked him out of the house.

"Mom, it's my decision. It has nothing to do with him." Said Kelly.

"It doesn't matter. I think you are fascinated by this loser. Can you believe what he said? Kelly, are you crazy?" Erin grabbed Kelly's shoulder. As she was too emotional, she made Kelly feel pain.

Looking at the painful expression of Kelly, Sean's expression suddenly became as cold as ice. Holding the wrist of Erin, he said coldly, "We will know tomorrow whether Kelly can make it or not. Why don't you believe her?"

Erin was exasperated.

"Let go of me. You've no right to speak in this home." Erin said.

Sean stared at Erin coldly and didn't give in. It was the first time that he had been so domineering in the Su Family.

Looking into the eyes of Sean, Erin suddenly felt a little afraid, as if he was going to kill her.

Noticing that something was wrong, Harry came up to mediate the dispute, "You can let it go first. It's already like this. What's the point of making a fuss? Now we can only try our best to let Kelly finish it."

After Erin let go of Kelly, Sean, let her go and said to Kelly, "I'm going to cook."

Erin gnashed her teeth in hatred. Looking at her red wrist, she said fiercely, "Sooner or later, I will find a way to get you out of our house. You are a loser."

During the dinner, Erin didn't sit at the table, and Harry told a lot about the RS Real Estate Company. He was also very afraid because if Kelly didn't make it tomorrow, they would be kicked out of the Su Family.

After dinner, Sean took a shower. When he returned to their room, he found that Kelly was sitting on the bed and looking straight at him.

Sean lay on the ground and said to Kelly, "The owner of the RS Real Su company is my classmate."

"Okay," Kelly replied briefly and stopped asking.

The room was so quiet that even the sound of a needle dropping could be heard. It had not changed day by day in the past three years.

But today, Kelly felt a little strange. She had never seen Sean's eyes when she grabbed Erin's hand and looked at her.

"Don't wait for me in the company anymore."Kelly suddenly said.

Sean was a little surprised. He didn't expect that Kelly knew about it.

"Okay."

Kelly, with her back to Sean, bit her lips and felt a ripple in her heart.

She had always thought that she could easily divorce Sean, but yesterday when Erin proposed this matter, she found that she could not do it.

No matter how useless he was, he had been with her for the past three years.

No matter how bad others talked about him, no matter how cold she was to him, he always smiled brightly in front of her.

Kelly was not heartless, and now she knew that she had long been used to having him by her side.

"Pick me up at the gate of the company."

Sean was struck by lightning. Looking at the back of Kelly, he smiled with happiness.

Kelly couldn't see Sean's expression and couldn't hear his answer for a long time. She thought he was unwilling, so she said discontentedly, "if you don't want to, then forget it."

Sean suddenly sat up and said excitedly, "I want to do it. I want to do it."

Feeling Sean's excitement and happiness, Kelly cried. It turned out that he didn't want much, and he was so easy to satisfy.
