Chapter 007 The Tan Family of Jincheng

“The girl earlier is your wife?” After all, Officer Lee was someone who had been through all sorts of things, he quickly held his emotions, and came to realize as he slapped on his thigh, “That’s right. Both of you looked like a couple, when your wife left, she looked a bit weird! So this is what happened!”

A smile was formed on the man’s lips, but it was unknown whether it was a forced smile or helplessness.

“Comrade, hello. This is the X Street Police Station in Nanjin City. Your brother-in-law, Peter is here. He asks you to pick him up.” Officer Lee explained.

The man on the other side of the phone paused for a few seconds before saying, “Fine. Officer, please let my brother-in-law to answer the phone. I need to say something to him.”

The low-pitched male voice with a Beijing accent sounded like a nobleman. Officer Lee didn’t think much and said, “Oh, fine. Peter, your brother-in-law wants to talk with you.”

The man that claimed to be ‘Peter’ stood up. He glanced at Officer Lee and Xiao Wan with his eyes behind his bangs. He turned his back on them as he received the phone as if there was something private that he didn’t want them to hear.

Officer Lee took a picture of Xiao Wan who was snickering and shouted, “What are you laughing? It’s our responsibility to solve the difficulties of the people. Is this how you work? Your professional manner is too bad! Go and organize the materials!”

“Oliver! What happened? Where are you?” An impatient question came from the phone, “The Jiang family has been looking for you for almost a month! Your aunt is about to go crazy!”

‘Peter’ who was wearing a number-11-jersey couldn’t speak and only tapped his fingers next to the phone microphone in a pattern. If Officer Lee and Xiao Wan paid more attention, they might’ve found out that he was using Morse code instead of speaking. Not only did he look good, but also he looked completely noble. Even his voice sounded pleasing to the ear and gorgeous and he was born with a good attitude. Although Officer Lee didn’t know who that man was, he still felt that the identity of the man that came wasn’t simple, at least he wasn’t ordinary.

He stepped forward and asked, “Are you Peter’s brother-in-law?”

That dashing man glanced around the police station and caught a glimpse of the man in a number-11-jersey while sitting on the chair. He completely looked old-fashioned and looking completely like a scoundrel.

He held back his laugh and shook hand with Officer Lee politely, and introduced himself, “Hello, Officer. I am Robin Mu. My brother-in-law has caused you some trouble. I’ll take him away now.”

Officer Lee smiled and said, “It’s fine for us. You should advise your sister more. Don’t commit domestic violence harshly next time. Oh, no, there shouldn’t be next time. She may not commit domestic violence casually. They are a couple. It’s normal to fight. But domestic violence is illegal!”

“Domestic violence? My sister?” Robin looked completely dumbfounded. ‘Peter’ walked over wearing a jersey and handed a piece of paper to Xiao Wan, which also stopped Robin from continuing the question.

As he pulled out the key and prepared to get off the car, Robin saw Oliver staring at the car on the right side of the parking area, and asked, “Why? Are you interested in the off-road vehicle? I’m afraid you won’t like this car, right, Mr. Jiang? Wow, this car seemed to have an accident. The front bumper and the headlights are about to fall and they didn't think of repairing it quickly?”

Oliver didn’t speak as he slowly opened the car door and still holding the blanket in his hands.

You didn’t say a word and you’re limping along while wearing a silly number-11 basketball jersey, yet you can still laugh? Why are you holding that torn blanket?”

After Robin confirmed that he didn’t see it wrong, Oliver was really laughing. He smiled like a fool while looking at the broken off-road vehicle and immediately secured the license plate of that car, “It’s a Jincheng license plate. Number 5678, it’s quite good. Let me check who the owner is.”

Oliver pushed him and walked to the hotel while holding the blanket. He completely didn’t care about Robin’s teasing and mocking, as if he also didn’t care about the owner of the car.

Scarface and the others surrounded the front desk. A black-faced man that was wearing a thick golden necklace slapped him straight on the head, “All of you eat shit! I can’t stand all of you! The other party has put a five-million deposit and promised to pay another five million in two months! Tell me and give me a complete good deal! If you don’t fucking want to mess around, go back to the northeast and catch up with them as soon as possible!”
